Just as Jack released Will's sleeve, Will jumped overboard throwing Ragetti into the ocean below. But as Will was jumping over, he noticed Jack slip away, and he clung onto the ledge as best as he could. He struggled to hang on as he looked down below at Ragetti who had hit the water.
He turned his head back to Jack and yelled out, "JACK! Over here! I'm over here!"

Jack heard Will cry for him, but unfortunately he didn't know Will was hanging onto the ledge, so he ignored him and decided to go searching for where he heard Barbossa's voice.
"And I'm goin' o'er 'ere.." he replied back to Will.

Portia noticed Jack straying from the group. She looked to Will. "I've got 'im!" She then started following Jack. She stood in front of him and watched him closely.
"Jack, what are ye doin'? We 'ave ta leave."

Will gripped desperately to the ledge with both arms and tried to host himself up on deck. He struggled and brought one leg up on top of the ledge and then from there, the rest of his body followed.
He flung out his sword with his right hand and ran toward Jack. He grabbed hold of his shoulder and said, "Jack, come on! It's not safe here anymore. Follow me and Portia!"

BArbossa said with a smile as his crew had surrounded them driving them towards the boat.

Jack stopped in his tracks. "Get me off this bloody ship..." he whispered into Will's ear, "Or we'll all be in graves..."
He started to back up, hoping he would know where the possible boat was at.

Portia looked to Barbossa angrily and then looked to Will and Jack. She took Jack's hand and started leading him to the boat. She looked down to the water and saw some of her crew already in it. She sighed deeply. "Jack... we 'ave ta get in tha boat. Come on." She helped him toward the boat.

Jack felt himself being guided by Portia. He went along with it but then said, "How far away is land? How much wa'er is there out there?"

Portia sighed and looked toward the water. She bit her lip and looked back to Jack. "Eh... there's a little bit. He actually let us stay a little ways a way." She held onto Jack's hand tighter and led him to the edge.

Jack didn't reply to Portia, but he let her guide him. He awaited instructions from her so he wouldn't die walking into the rail or into the helm itself.

Portia took a deep breath and looked to Jack. "Don't worry. We can get in a boat, but we 'ave ta jump in tha water first." She stopped herself and Jack right in front of the ledge.
"Okay, Jack. On tha count o' three, we 'ave ta jump. Are ye ready?" She looked over him and squeezed his hand.

Portia sighed and nodded. "Alright... hold onto me hand at all times. 1...2...3!!" She finished and then jumped with Jack down below to the cold waters. Once they finally reaced surface again, Portia gasped for air and then swam toward the boat, while still holding onto Jack's hand.
