With his eyes fixed in a daze on the table, Kenobi continued to sip his soup, but he did not respond to Reia's last statement about her new rank. His mind was focused on Padme....he had not seen her in quite some time.... he tried to push the thought away.....but it was so hard.....he knew he could not love someone and have a relationship....but......but......he could not help himself........

Padme parked the speeder on the ground level of the senate building. Though she'd have to walk a bit further, she didn't have to worry about her things being stolen. Shouldering a small pack, she headed down the street.

Reia opened her mouth to reply, but looked up as she heard a voice. "Anakin!" she exclaimed in delight as she stood. She'd always enjoyed his company when he was younger, but he'd....grown so much...
