"The Koga have never given us a moment's respite. You know this. And now this period of peace? My instincts tell me that they want us to lower our guard so they can annihilate us. My lady, we must prepare."

Cora bowed her head. "You mustn't jump to conclusions Aiko." She said calmly. "Perhaps they have decided to have peace." She looked up and just past the Shinobi woman. "For that is what I wish the most." She said a longing look in her eyes.

"And how can you have that much faith in our enemies?" Aiko questioned, her eyes narrowing suspiciously. "Without any written word from Koga-sama himself, I do not have any trust in such relief." She sighed then. "Peace is a worthy aspiration, Cora-sama, but they have hated us for years. What grounds have you to believe that years of fighting can just be forgotten?"

Cora looked at Aiko. "I guess your right, Aiko. Tell the others to be on guard." She got up. "There is something I must do." She said as she went to her dest and knelt again, taking out a scroll and and quill to write.

"Hai." Aiko replied and bowed low again. With that she slowly backed out of the room and then turned to exit. Something is different about Cora. She seems to be...distracted... she thought as she went off to inform the other guards. Can she be...in love...she wondered, but quickly shook the thought from her mind and turned her attention to the duty at hand.

With that she went to the window and took the hawk that always too her messages. "Take this to Koga Kuroda." She told it and let it fly off.

"We will all gather in the great hall at sundown tonight, from there we will go to the border and cross when the moon reaches it's zenith. Then..." He was interrupeted by a slight rustle at the window. He saw Cora's hawk out of the corner of his eye. "One moment, Zutao."

He strode over to the window and took the message from the bird.
Kuroda,

Kuroda turned back to his friend, folding the note carefully and placing it in his shirt front, "Ignore what I said before. I will not be leading our people to the border. You lead them there and I will come at the zenith of the moon. Then we will cross and attack. If I am not there at the zenith, I leave military actions to your discression until I arrive at the place of battle. The wind will tell me."

The Seemingly Nice But Actually Really Nasty Nazgul
School ate my life. *sigh*

"What? But your always there? Come on what could be more important than anailateing some Iako's?" He laughed, though the hatred in his eyes shone through. He was so preocupied with this that he hardly registered the note. "You'd better be there at the Zenith, or i'l kick your ass." He smiled slightly sinisterly and jumped of the bed, pauseing in the door way. "Hey Kuroda-kun, me and the guys have decided that the Iako-sama' daughter is gonna be the target tonight, whats her name; Cora thats it. Just so you know, see you tonight." He grinned and turned out of the door.

( my target i don't mean thier gonna rape her or anything, just single her out slightly and concntrate on her)

Cora looked up at the sky, it was getting close to sundown. "Kuroda." She sighed and prepared to go and meet the man she loved.

Kuroda's eyes widened, Cora? Could she be the enemy daughter? No. She couldn't! He stumbled to the edge of his bed and groaned. He could either warn her and become a traitor, or join in the fight and possibly harm her, if she was indeed the leader's daughter. Or... wait! there was another way. He could see Cora AND be back to the fortress by sundown.

The Hawk was still at the window, he would find Cora wherever she was. He scribbled two words, Look Up, onto a piece of parchment and sent the Hawk out the window. Then he grabbed a cloak from the foot of his bed and put it on. Grabbing the edges so that they were taut he went to the window and called to the wind.

Using his cloak like wings, Kuroda leaped from the window and followed the Hawk to Cora's location.
