Cora Skye looked up at the mansion with her blue eyes, behind the gates. "So this is it. Intresting." She smiled, it had been a while since she was welcomed anywhere, she hoped this place was different. Floating up over the gate she continued walking to the door and ran the bell. While she waited she smoother out her flaming red hair wich had become messy on her trip here.

Storm walked towards the main door of the Mansion, smiling at the students in the hallways as she passed. She opened the large wooden doors to see a young woman standing there.
"Hello there, we've been expecting you" she said with a broad welcoming smile "Welcome to the Xavier Institute. Don't just stand there, come in"

Storm lifted up one of her arms to her side to encourage the young girl to enter.

Bobby Drake and Peter Rasputin were sitting on the bench in the main hallway. Peter was attempting to work on some higher math problems, but Bobby was making this impossible.

"Bobby," Peter said, a little irritated, but still calm as always, "I'm never going to be able to-"

"Look!!" Bobby interupted, and Peter sighed, turning back to his work.
"No. Look!" Bobby insisted, "There's a new girl." Peering through the crowd and out the wide doors, surely enough, Storm was speaking with a girl they did not recognize.

"Dude," Bobby said, thumping Peter on the back, "I'm gonna go talk to her."

"I do not know if that's a good idea..." Peter attempted, but it was far too late to stop Bobby, who was already making his way over.

Storm tilted her head to one side and gazed at the young woman. The similarity was almost eery. She mentally shook the thoughts away and smiled at her again.
"Ah yes, Cora. I was the one who accepted your application. If you want to follow me, I can take you to the living quarters and find you a room. Then once you've settled in, I can take you on a tour of the Institute. Introduce you to some of the other students here" as soon as she'd finished her words, she noticed that Bobby Drake was walking towards them.

Bobby Drake could be called fearless. But he could also be called stupid.

But he didn't really care, so he bolted right up to Storm and the new girl and began talking, "Hi Storm! Who's your new friend?"

Without waiting for a reply, he turned to the girl and began, "Hi! I'm Bobby Drake, but you can call me "Iceman"...." he paused, shocked by the familiarity, "....have we... met before??"

Storm smiled and shook her head at Bobby. He was always so bold with the newcomers. After he introduced himself, Storm interjected.
"Bobby, You'll have plenty of time to introduce yourself later. I need to get Cora settled in to her room"

She said before following Storm to where her room would be, As they walked they past a room where she saw a man with sunglasses sat. "Who's that?" She asked notincing how sad the man looked, not noticeing him look at her.

Scott was sitting in his favorite chair in the den of the mansion. He wanted to be alone, so he was very thankful that there were no other mutants in there with him. He had his hands on both sides of his face and his head was slightly tilted downward. He really missed Jean. Every single day she was gone he missed her. He sighed deeply and felt the aching of his heart slightly worsen. 'Why can't I just be dead?' He thought to himself. He didn't even notice Ororo and the newest student Cora walk by.

Marie was sitting in her room, studying for her Chemistry final. She needed to get a good grade in order to pass the college portion of her schooling. She was finally almost done and it excited her. She took a deep breath and changed the page of the book she was reading through and taking notes on.

"That's Scott Summers" Storm said with a sigh, her voice failing to hide the despondancy. Ororo glanced over at him briefly before walking on with Cora. "Here's your room" she spoke, her smile returning as she opened the door and led her inside.
"There's no-one to share with you at the moment, so you have this room all to yourself, I hope you don't mind" Ororo said warmly

Cora smiled, the room was nice, especially since it had a fireplace. "I don't mind. I'm used to being along. I love the room." She added using her powers to start a fire in the fireplace.

Storm returned the smile, "I'm glad you like it. Take your time to get your things unpacked and settle in. When you're ready to take that tour. Come find me"

Ororo began to walk towards the doorway and glanced back over at Cora. She really couldn't get over how much she looked like...her.

"Welcome again to the Xavier Institute Cora" Ororo smiled at her one last time, before walking out and closing the door behind her.
