Viktor sighed, his head being propped by his arm, which in turn was resting on the arm of his throne. This was, he thought, the boring part of being ruler of the vampires. He had to sit here and listen all the tiny insignificant reports that his advisory staff insisted on persisting him with. For the past thirty minutes, they have been talking about his excessive spending of funds on the castle. Funnily enough, they were the ones who enjoyed the pleasures the castle offered them.

((Alright...I did some research on Underworld stuff last night. Since there is another well know lycan by the name of William, I will be changing my character's name from William to Nathaniel.
Also, I did as much research as I could, but I still don't know much. I will probably say or do something that is incorrect. Just tell me, and I'll fix it. ))
Nathaniel gazed at the wall opposite him, a blank, somewhat placid look on his face. His stomach growled, yearning for food, but years upon years of deprivation had conditioned him to ignore it. Absentmindedly he rubbed his ankle, where a metal shackle had rubbed away the skin to form thick, scarred callouses. The thick prison walls were windowless, the only light coming from a feeble torch. The musty, rank odor of too many prisoners being kept in too small of a space was powerful, but Nathan barely minded it anymore. Sure, it was a shock to his sensitive nose whenever he reentered his cell, but he quickly adjusted. Glancing quickly at his cellmates, he went back to counting the bricks on the wall. He knew the answer--476 to be exact--but at least it was something to do.

Theia saw Marysska approching down the other end of the long corridor. An evil plan formulated in her mind; sure she and Marysska worked well enough together, and though they could not be called close freinds but they didn't argue too much. But Theia was bored and so...
Her teeth elongated to become sharpend fangs and her eyes turned from thier normal grey blue to starteling elctric blue. She chraged at Marysska with the obviouse intent of killing her or damageing in some way. She knew perfectly well that marsska could avoid attack, but a fight was as good as any other distraction right now.

((Great start, guys! And Nauriel, you are doing great. ))
Sonja walked with a radient air to her, her simple black dress showing every curve she had with perfect ease, her black hair blending in with her clothes. She slipped down the empty cooridor, walking swiftly, making her rounds around the castle. She slipped past one of the vampire gaurds and took the secret route down towards the cells were the Lycans were kept. She loved to study them, but that was kept secret - in truth, her father, Viktor, sent her to make sure they still were willing to commit their duty to the Vampires; if not, she was to dispose of them. As she entered the caverns filled with men who were locked in cells, who within a moment could be called to change into a bloodthirsty wolf to protect the beings they hated, Sonja never knew what she was chosen to gaurd, interrogate, and sometimes even kill, would change her life, as well as the life of both species, forever.

Marysska suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of foreboding as she continued to walk the corridors to ease her boredom. Out of the darkness a figure lurched out from it and towards her with intent. Marysska leaped back and flipped nimbly onto a bannister. Her sharp Vampiric senses saving her, but only just. A split second later, she would have been hit and hit hard. She looked up sharply to see who her attacker was, recognising the face of a fellow Death Dealer.
"Theia? What in the hell do you think you're doing?" she enquired angrily.
"What is the meaning of this?" Marysska became more agitated and began to notice a slight sharp pain in her left arm.
Blood was trickling slowly out of the tear in her black sleeved top. She looked back up at Theia and hissed, bearing her fangs as her eyes began to change to the vampire electric blue.

The time... all Lucian could ask for, believing as the only thing meaningful in terms of the days, months, years and even centuries he has been kept inside this cage. And as if only a savage animal that deserved to have been deterred not only physically but also by will, he has been enslaved for so long just to be restricted in his movements, to his thoughts. However, his will to fight never faded in the slightest. Patience Lucian muttered as he eyed the shackles that had left a few bloody marks upon his arms under the illumination of the torch, the few bloody marks that came about while in his feeble attempts to set himself free of what has him had bounded for so long. From so long that what he yearned for. Freedom. Time seemed to have never ended its betrayal to Lucian as how his sharp eyes barely looked into illuminating torches that provided a rather scene that which he hoped to happen any time soon now. Anytime Lucian pleaded as he heard footsteps covering his full attention. Indeed he knew who was to come though his animalistic instincts would never give in till he saw her.
(I am kind of rusty so try to bear with me btw, we need a Kraven for he is essential to the events that will lead to the happenings of Underworld)

"Oooooo did i draw blood? Nice" She grinned and began to back off slightly as Marysska's eyes changed coulor, she was angry and what Theia was about to say would not improve her temper at all.
"I was bored" She said almost laughing and ran as fast as she could away from Marysska

Malachi had been writing when he heard the commotion. Angrily slamming the thick volume shut, he snatched his sword from the wall and stormed out, his eyes changing colour as he drew he blade and found the cause. Theia and Marysska were ready to kill each other, again. He hissed as Thiea leapt over him, then slammed his sword into the stone floor. The steel rang loudly and it cracked the rock, and he snarled as he glared at Thiea, knowing she was the instigator.
"Do the words 'peace and quiet' mean nothing to you?" He asked dangerously. "We cannot fight amongst ourselves while the Lycans still exist. Some of us are attempting to help our people, and all you two can do is try to kill one another?" He snapped. Yanking his word out of the cracked stone, he stormed back to his quarters, cursing the youth and thier stupidity.
((If you'd like this changed, tell me. I haven't RP'ed in weeks, so I'm re-adjusting))

Marysska still perched on the bannister leered angrily and breathing heavily at Theia's words and even more so as she ran off obviously so very pleased with herself.
To make matters worse Malachi one of the elder Vampires, even by Marysska's standards, came storming out and gave a rather stern dressing down. Marysska opened her mouth to explain, but before she even got a chance to let the words pass her lips he was gone. Back into his quarters.
Jumping down from the bannister back onto the hallway floor, she stood outside Malachi's door, debating wether or not it was worth it to talk to him. Explain the situation.
"Doubt it would matter" she sighed to herself, resignated in defeat. Vowing to herself to get even with Theia another time and hopefully with some dignity intact. Marysska turned on her heels and headed in the opposite way.

((@ CF - Ah, that is true. Would anyone like to 'ave a go with Kraven, then?
@ Turwaithion - Yours was perfect, mate, I loved it.))
Sonja entered the cellroom, and a rank smell entered her nostrils. She cringed in disgust as she was still not used to the smell, even though she did this every week. The smell of wet dog. She thought, and she cringed again, her fingers caressing the hilt of her sword as a few growls could be heard. Sonja wanted to glare at them, remind them who was in charge and who could decide what hour was their last, but it was so dark that she could not see into the cages. She walked over to a vampire guard and requested for the flames to be lit. With a nod and a few moments waiting, the room was filled with light and she looked upon the many figures of shirtless men that, with the one certain eve of the moon cycle or one command, could turn into a horrid beast that she had grown up to despise.
Sonja walked down the cells, her fingers touching the solid iron bars lightly as she walked past, looking into each of the eyes of the Lycans - at least, those who dared to look at her and her very dark blue eyes that glowed in the dark, the eyes that was aquired by her race alone. She stopped then at a cage of a Lycan who was rubbing his ankle and she could hear, in the mixture of growls and low whipsers, his stomach rumbling.
"You, Lycan!" She command. "I have never seen the likes of you before. What is your name?" She asked him, pausing at his cell as the entire room fell into silence.
((Nauriel, this is your charrie.))

"Bother" was the only response Theia had to Malachi. She had been told off so many times now she didn't care, but she was BORED! Oh yes peace and quiet were fine if you had something to do but if you had nothing then it was the most boreing thing around.
She knew well enough not to go out and terrorise humans, and the lycans were predictable and never fought back. Vampires were the only intresting things to fight.
She would have gone on makeing a disturbance but she knew she was no match for Malachi. However...
The door to Malachi's room was suddenly opened and Theia stood lounging in the open space "I'm bored" she annoced stepping in.

Malachi looked up, hissing at Theia. "What is it you are looking for, then? A fight?" He asked, glancing to his re-hung sword. "If you want to do something useful, you sorry excuse for a Death Dealer, you can help me organise these records." He said venomously, gesturing to the musty shelves that dominated his room. "They need to be organized according to date and author. Both should be found on the front cover. Leave all tomes relating to previous conflicts to me, am I understood? Our Lord has asked me to search them for possible Lycan weaknesses." He said, shaking his head as he blotted his page and closed the volume, satisfied.
The book was his life's work. All that he had learned that added to his personal morals was encased there, and in the two other volumes that weighed down his desk. He was distgusted by Viktor's methods, but he owed him his allegiance. His Lord may have been overly cruel; he would have given the Lycan's worthy deaths instead of making them prisoners; but his loyalty was the only thing that kept him sane sometimes.
Malachi looked up to Theia again. "What say you?" He asked, already scanning the book spines.

"Sure; not like i have anything better to do with my time." She shrugged walking over to the stack of books clearly unruffeled by his words. Theia had been called alot of worse things by the other Deathdealers but she had a thick skin and the insults slid off mostly; and those that didn't she never let you know. She began to sort the books out one by one putting those relateing to conflicts to one side.
"Why does our Lord want to find thier weakness? We have defeated them. Surely it would be better to kill them than continue tourtering them in this way." Theia knew that her morality was one of her weaknesses; but she did not try and erradicate it all the same. It may sometimes go aginst her loyalty; but her loyalty was stronger.

"The next order of business, my lord, is the Lycans currently under your service."
Viktor's head rose up at the mention of the slaves he had. Of course, no one was exactly comfortable with the idea of those barbaric animals guarding their doors. But just as man employed dogs to watch over them, so shall the vampires employ the inferior Lycans to watch over them. Unfortunately not all of them saw that.
"My lord, you are endangering us with these animals. Who knows what would happen if they decide to rebel?"
"You believe these animals, these dogs," snapped Viktor. "Will ever dream of trying to overthrow us?"
"They are not like dogs, sir," the noble responded hastily. "They can think, they feel, they will certainly be dissatisfied..."
"Are you suggesting that Lycans are like us, higher beings capable of thought? My dear sir, you are gravely mistaken." The other nobles chuckled at the noble's humiliation. Viktor continued, "It is true that Lycans had once posed a threat against our species. But that time has passed. We have conquered them, mastered over them. In the years they have been in our service, they have proved useful from guarding our doors and this castle. They have aided us in destroying opposition that has challenged our rule. I do not doubt, for a second, that Lycans will ever turn against their masters."
A small applause rewarded Viktor's statement before they returned to more matters. Meanwhile, Viktor gestured for a Death Dealer. He immediately walked up to his lord and leaned forward, grasping the quick whisper. "Where is my daughter now?"

"Not seen the likes of me?" He replied ot the vampire, reteating her words. In the dim light he could see her electric blue eyes. He glanced at her with his own pale grey eyes that, while not as blazing as hers, were just as feral. "When I have been here for so long, it is a miracle that you have not seen me at least once." He held her gaze, pausing before he gave her his name. He would have liked to say that he paused for dramatic effect, but truth be told his name did not come easily to him. In this setting, in this prison, his name was never used. He rarely spoke to his inmates (and when he did, names were unnecessary) and his vampire captives chose to call him only by demeaning titles. He had half a mind to tell her his name was 'dog' or 'pup'. "My name...is Nathaniel" He said slowly, savoring the pleasant memories his name evoked. With a sudden smirk he added, "But you may call me Nathan, if you so wish."

Malachi let out a bitter laugh as he placed several books into thier proper places. "You do not think I suggested that when Lord Viktor asked? Our Lord is as vicious as his daughter. He gains more satisfaction by forcing the Lycans to act as dogs and to languish in his prison than see thier true potential. He will not kill them. He will use them as slaves until they either die, or revolt and mount his head on a pike." He growled, pacing several more dusty volumes aside, al of which dealed with the Lycan wars. "And they would. How do you think I recieved this burn?" He asked, tapping his scarred cheek as the turned to look at Theia
