If I were to kill you and take your head to Kuroda's father, I would be promoted, and given much gold for doing this. Even under the protection of a shinobi, the minute another shinobi saw you, you'd loose you're life. Since I am the only one of my clan here at the moment, who ever goes is under my protection. I would say a shinobi has a better chance at this than you do, Cora-san(san's right, right? lol)," he said, and edge to his voice that said don't argue. Yasha was usually the one to follow orders instead of make them, so it was rare for him to get into this mood and take command...

"Only one of us needs to go," Mariko said quietly. "That way if the worst shall occur, at least the rest can carry on." Mariko paused then as a new thought dawned on her. "And what of the the Iako clan?" she asked. "Will somone be needed to go there or do you believe that sending a representative to the Koga will be sufficient?" she asked Yashamaru.

Meanwhile Aiko turned to Cora and spoke to her after hearing Yashmaru's words. "Onegai [please] Cora-sama. Let one of us go in your stead. Do you not see? Your life will be in mortal danger if you go. Think of Kuroda. If for no other reason, stay safe for him." she pleaded softly.

"I think we should send one to each clan. But because of what happened, I'm not sure if either Zutao or Kuroda will be able to leave the clan city for awhile. Both might be under watch at all times, it matters how merciful Koga was to them. That or would you prefer me going to your clan under your or Aiko's protection?" Yashamaru said to Mariko. "I think that if we can get at least one clan convinced, then it won't be just the six of us wanting peace. It matters which clan is more likely to change their mind."

"Among many of the shinobi, to show any mercy for a Koga is considered to be a sin," Mariko added, a hint of regret showing in her eyes. "How about your clan?" she asked.

Cora looked down. "Very well. Aiko-san (Is that right?) You may go, if nothing else to see him." She said. "And if you see Kuroda-koi, tell him I hope to see him again soon."

Mariko nodded to Yashamaru’s statement. She remembered the cold, bloodthirsty eyes of his kin as she entered their castle. Yet she knew that if one of the Koga had come into their castle, the reaction would be the same.

"Hai, [Yes]" Aiko replied with a bow. Though I highly doubt Zutao-kun would want to see me again after the pain I caused him, she thought ruefully. "I will deliver your message as soon as I am able to. For if I can be certain of thing from all that I have seen, I know that his heart lives with you." Aiko then turned to Mariko. "Guard our lord's daughter well."

Mariko nodded. "You know I will stand before her, though I forfeit my life." Aiko nodded and gave the woman a slight smile.

Zutao merely blinked as the first blow fell. If he couldn't die then at least the pain drove all thoughts of Her out of his head. He stood stolidly; takeing a sadistic pleasure in the pain.

"...Ninety-four, ninety-five..." Zutao was on his knees, held up only by the ropes tieing his hands high above him to the wall. Small diomonds of skin decorated the raw bloody flesh that was now his back. He cried out as each blow fell, but still tried to stifel the screams that ripped his throat out of some dis-ordinate sense of houner. He turned his head slightly in space between blows and gave Kuroda a bitter-sweet smile, though his eyes still shriked in pain.

"Hundred" The ropes were cut and he fell into the dirt, unmoveing but for the tremomors that shook him spasmodically. A hereld came out of the buildings and stood just out from the crowd.
"Kuroda-kun; Koga-sama asks that you take notice of this example of what happens when you dis-grace yourself. Zutao-yōgisha; do not act in such a way again" The hereld returned back to Koga-sama as the crowd dispersed

Sighing, Kuroda bent down and reached out to help Zutao up. "Yes, I take notice." he growled. I take notice of what happens when one falls in love without realizing it. But then he brightened somewhat "My father, whether he knows it or not, has blessed us with one thing. You cannot fight until your back is healed, and I cannot lead until a month and a day have passed. That gives us some time to patch things up. What do you say to that, Zutao?"

The Seemingly Nice But Actually Really Nasty Nazgul
School ate my life. *sigh*

"I say dam your farther, dam the Koga's, dam the Iako's and dam you." Zutao gasped angrily.
"What the hell is there to patch up?" He hissed as they entered his quarters and he lay down on his bed face down; a small sigh of relif escapeing him.
"We don't have to do anything. Everything can go back to the way it should be. We've confessed, we've been punished. Soon we can go back to killing the Iako's and maybe I can manage to kill Aiko for doing this to me."
It was obviouse the beating had done the trick. Any feelings that Zutao had had for Aiko had quickly turned to hatred.

Cora had been in ddep thought since she had asked Aiko to go for her. After some thought she took her hair out and held the ribbon that had been in her hair. Approching Aiko she asked. "Aiko-san, I know I asked you to deliver a message, but i like would you to also give this to Kuroda-koi. Tell him that this way he will have a piece of me with him." She said holding the ribbon out, it was a one that Cora had wore almost all the time, it was her trademark.
