Decian gazed out from the pinnacle of his citadel. He was given this castle in return of his services to the elves. For decades, his Death Bringers destroyed entire lines of kings and governors of the other races. Unlike what others thought, the Death Bringers was trying to bring peace to the world. They had avenged the murdered elven representatives by killing the assassins and those that hired them. They feverishly tried to stop war by killing those that were too belligerent. A sudden movement caught Decian's eyes. He sought it and found it. It was a messenger, waving a flag that depicted a serpent with a letter in its mouth. It was the sign that the elven leaders wanted him to do something for him. The guards knew what to do; within minutes, the gates were opened and the messenger was allowed in. Accompanied by two Death Guardians, those that protected the castle and Decian, Decian encountered the messenger, who immediately bowed and said, "My lord Decian."
"What is the leaders' will?" asked Decian.
"I assume you know of the rebels?" answered the messenger with a question
"Yes."
"Well, there is a camp gathered in the Dzaraim Valley. They are attempting to rebuild the old Council and try to unite the four races. We need you to convince them to join our side. Is that..."
"Understood." said Decian in a confirmation and completion of the messenger's phrase. The messenger nodded again and left soon after.

Thirty minutes later, Decian was leading twenty Death Bringers to the rebel camp in Dzaraim Valley.

The elf looked doubtful, and held out a palm. A small ball of crackling brilliant light grew above it, like a small flaming sun. "I don't think I can help you," she admitted. "I'm light, and only light. But I am rather good at it," she added with a grin, making the little sphere dance around her head where it made her silver hair glitter before disappearing.

Vennir smiled at the glowing ball of light.

"I can do some things too, but I can't do anything like that.." He then held out his hand, and a small sphere of water became visable floating right above his palm. He moved it aroud, changing its shape. All the while, it glittered and sparkled in the sun. The small mass of water then became icy and hard, and Vennir let it drop to the ground.

"I can fight with elements, but.. I'm not all that good at it.. especially defensive..."

Pausing with the string of his bow pulled taut, Tajien's sharp eyes flicked towards the strangers entering the camp, and his stance noticeably stiffened. Not wanting to appear hostile if they were not foes, however, he assumed a more neutral, natural, stance, taking up a place by the nearest tree, leaning his bow against it in easy reach. Can't be caught weaponless..

Groden stiffened when he saw the twenty-one strangers enter the camp. Their leader was not a stranger to him. "You might be wanting to get some armor on," he advised those around him before setting off at a run to take his own advice. It didn't take long for him to be fully suited up, and then cautiously head out of his tent towards the center of the camp, where Decian would be leading his Death Bringers. He was holding his mace in one had, though his battle axe was still across his back, ready to be pulled in front of him at a moment's notice.

Dacian ordered ten of the Death Bringers to stand by while the rest accompanied him into the camp. As they reached the borders of the camp, four of them dismounted, along with Dacian. The rest stayed on their horses, watching Dacian and his escorts as they approach the shapeshifter that was standing guard.

Expression betraying no emotion whatsoever at the strangers' approach, Tajien seemed quite at his ease, though whether that was the truth or not was another matter alltogether.

"Who approaches, friend, foe, or inbetween?" he asked clearly, all those who guarded the borders were always to ask that question upon the approach of outsiders..and they were also to kill unmercifully if the answer came back 'foe'.

"Consider us allies upon fate's will, if you must," answered Dacian. "I have desire to see peace within this country in less than peaceful methods. In short, we are allies and our goals are aligned into one."

"Allies." Tajien repeated, tone even. "I see..and what is your purpose here?"

Vennir watched carefully as the shapeshifter and the elf continued in their conversation, content to lean against a tree and quiely listen to them.

Dusky shadows, punctuated by the occassional shaft of sunlight, lengthened around the assassin as he crept from tree to tree. Virtually merging with the shadows, Hedoc silently watched the rebel camp. It seemed the majority were gathered around the archery range, conversing with a retinue that'd just entered camp.

His orders had been clear: Spy on the meddling rebels. And... if the opportunity presents itself... feel free to kill.

The elf looked curiously at the emissaries, her arrow burying itself in the target at the very centre even when she wasn't looking. She retrieved her arrows and strode over to see what all this was about.

Only the messenger boy remained, and after a moment he too followed, tucking his arrows back into his quiver.

Just then, a hawk landed on the ground behind Vennir, and it shuffled it's wings. Then, after a slight cawing, it shifted forms into a beautiful young woman in a dark blue tunic and a pair of black breeches. She was armed with her swords, bow, and hidden dagger and she stared at man who was spying. "It is not nice to spy on those who are unknown to you, sir." She said, looking him in the eyes.

Vennir was quite surprised by the scolding the shapeshifter gave him, and he nodded and backed away a bit.

"And who would you be? And where does you allegience lie?" He asked, returning her gaze sharply.

"They call me Elendi and I am of the rebels. And who may you be?" She inquired, a gleam in her eyes.

"My name is Vennir, and I am also with the Rebels." He looked to the ground in the silence that ensued. "Can you use elemets?" Vennir asked, not knowing what else to say.

Elendi smiled. "Sometimes, but I try not to realy on them too often in battle. What about you? I have not seen you here before, Vennir.
