Trudy giggled when brendon wraped his arms around her. she looked around for bret but didn't see him. she was slightly releaved. Trudy laughed when he said good morning. " brendon...it's almost 12...it's not morning anymore babe..." she turned to see shonnalen. " oh hey. how are you? " she smiled.

After sharpening her dagger, Aliana sheathed the small blade and returned it to its place in her boot. Setting the piece of wood aside she quickly rose and stretched before walking over to Trudy, Kira, Shonnalen, Bella and the rest of the group had gathered. Standing quietly among them, she listened to their conversations, wondering what course of action they were planning to take.

'Welcome Alena!" Kira yelled across the room. She was now out of thinking mode and had decided that she was going to greet everyone that walked in the door and try to make everyone feel better about life without pressing the facts upon them.

Bret, walking up to join the rest of the group, frowned as he saw Brendon wrap his arms around Trudy's waist. He tried to get along Brendon, but at times their personalities tended to clash. <i>It's none of your business.</i> Bret tried to tell himself. He smiled as he walked up to the group, listening to the conversation.

"Why hello there Bret!" Kira laughed while totally exposing Bret to the rest of the group.

Kira responded with a smile, "Just hanging out really... we were trying to plan something, at least I was, but that went down the drain pretty quickly for right now. But, nevermind about us. What have you been up to?"

Bret shrugged. "Oh, same as usual. Wandering around the mall, wandering around outside."

"You sure you haven't tried to kill anyone yet?" Kira joked.

"No, not that I know of." Bret smiled again. He grabbed a chair he had taken from the food court when the first came to the mall, and sat down.

Kira looked around while her mind had just gone back to the disease. Looking at Bret, she asked, "Do you know anything really about this disease?"

Aliana flashed Kira a warm smile as she greeted her. "Hi, Kira!" she called back, the younger woman's excitement lifting her spirits for the moment. "Hello Bret!" she echoed, nodding her head slightly in greeting. With that the cheer from her face faded as the conversation shifted back to talk of the disease, and her rich brown eyes darkened with worry. She knew that it was only a matter of time before they were afflicted-some would be so sooner than others. She remained silent afterwards, hoping to get more information about the illness.

Shonnalen smiled as her small group of followers gathred in or arround the small kitchen area. She didn't want to talk about the illness that seemed to be wiping the plnet clean of everyone 30 and over. She only had a year left and the thought scared her.

Brendon smiled and said "Whatever." Then snuggled against her before he straightened and removed his hand from arround Trudy's waist. Bret wasn't one of the people on his list of friends, and he wasn't looking forward to a confrontation. He looked over at his sister and saw the worried look on her face. "Something wrong Sis?" He asked

Shonnalen took a deep breath, she had other things to worry about then what was going to happen to her. She looked up at her younger brother and smiled shaking her head, then lounged against the counter her ice blue eyes half closed in seeming bordom of the converstaion. She straightened as the sound of glass shattered, and turned to look in the direction of the sound. "Anyone konw what that is or should I be worried?" She asked as she headed toward the main doors at the far end of the mall.

Trudy smiled as brendon huged her. she watched bret come in. she knew him and brendon did not get along. she was almost sure that bret would ask her why she was dating a loser like brendon. at least thats what he thought about brendon... trudy finished washing dishes and turned around. just in time to hear the shattering of glass. she was startled.
she ran over to the main doors with shonnalen. there were mobs of people trying to get in. everyone knew that the mall still had a few things in it. and people sometimes tried to get in. this mob was bigger then normal though.
Trudy ran quickly back to the other. " guys theres a mob trying to get in again.....come on everyone come help.." she ran back to the main doors, but first she grabed a knife from the kitchen.

Shonnalen stopped by the shop that had become their gun store, and retrieved her favorite gun, then headed down the now broken escalater, "Hold it right there!." She called to the apparant leader of the mob as she levled the gun at him. The boy who appeared to be no older then Brendon froze, looking up at her with frightened eyes... he appeared to be unarrmed. "What do you want here?" She asked her eyes going from happy blue to angry green. She didn't wait for him to answer. "I don't appriciate you breaking into MY safe haven, however if you wish to join us that's fine, if not ... Get Out!!!" Her voice was forcefull enough to carry across the space to the boy and the large group that had followed.
