Halt looked at Aaron for a while, letting there be a silence. Then, he spoke. "You may come." He stated briefly, as he then turned his attention to the clearing, looking around for Crowley. Seeing him, he then strode over to him.

Gilan let Halt go, but stopped the rest of the group, or tried to. "I don't want to bombard Crowley. Halt if a grown-up, or so I am told he is, can ask him on his own."

"Thanks," Will answered Drake, "Yes, I did. How long have you been studying with Gilan?"

Will stopped as Gilan told them to, chuckling a little at his joke.

Crowley looked up at Halt. "You wish to talk to me?" He asked as he looked at the ranger.

Halt nodded slowly and looked at Crowley. "I wish to speak to you about what Aaron, a messanger told me. He said that he saw a Kalkara. I am wondering if you may let me,” He paused then continued. “my apprentice, Aaron, Gilan and his apprentice go search for it.” Halt finished.

Crowley let out a small sigh, that was just Halt. “I will think about it. Right now, there is something more important that we need to talk about. Start to gather the people towards the speaking rock. I will begin to speak to them soon.” Crowley replied.

Halt gave a nod, and walked back over to the group that his apprentice was with.

Drake smiled and said, "4 years. 4 very long years." He said and almost laughed. "What about you and Halt?" He asked Will. Gilan glanced back at the two boys and grinned.

Aaron watched Halt walk away, talk, and then walk back in their direction, ignoring the talk of the two apprentices. Of course, Aaron had to wait a few more years before he chose his first apprentice, but that didn't matter now.
"What did Crowley say?" asked Aaron when Halt returned...

Halt looked at Aaron. "He will think about it." He stated gruffly. Then after a long pause, where he looked at each group member, he spoke again. "He also said that we will be starting the meeting soon, all the rangers are here. So I suggest that we gather around the speaking rock." He said.

Will thought for a moment, "I'm into my 7th year with him now," he awsered. "But if you count out the year in-" he paused, glacing a Halt for a moment, "-Scandia, it would be 6 years."

He nodded at what Halt said, and followed him to the speaking rock.

Halt heard Will say his year in Scandia, and he instinctivly brought his hand up to his hood and made sure that it was covering his face. He let out a small sigh. Will only had 2 more years before he would be a full ranger. It would have been 1, but because Will spent a year in Scandia, Halt had insisted on continuing his apprentice's training for another year to make up for what Will had missed when he had been captured.

[[ um... Tonks, I think you mean... if you count the year in Scandia, 7 years. Because the year of your training... 6 years, plus the year in Scandia is 7, not 5.... ]]

Crowley looked at the rangers that were around the rock. He stepped onto the rock, and paused, gathering his words. Then, he spoke. "Fellow rangers, we are gathered her tonight to speak about the terror that has striked Celtica. We do not know what has caused this, and the people are beginning to worry there, as are ours. So, we are here to disguss what should be done, and who should go." Crowley began.

Halt listened to what Crowley said, intently.

Will nodded. "I guess it is," he said, then hushed. He listened to Crowley speak, waiting for him to continue.
