Cat raises an eyebrow. "So you shut yourself away?.... How do you live?.... This place is beautiful, but being cooped up forever would kill me...." She grins fangedly at her new 'friend'. "You should get out.... See the world.... Lots of places are, dare I say it, much more beautiful than this..... Perhaps it would help you two to forget...." Cat turns her head and looks back at the stairs. "By the way, where is this 'other' vampire?...."

"We survive on the occasional passer-by that has nothing else to live for." Jocelyn sighed knowing that Cat was right they did need to get out more often. Brushing a strand of auburn hair away from where it had fallen before a piercing green eye she smiled sipping the wine.

"Derrick, he should be up any moment. He sleeps alot these days, I think it helps him deal with the pain. He took it harder than me..."

Cat looks back at her and nods. "He needs to do something..... Sleeping will not cure his pain.... I took to traveling to ease mine....." She shrugs and looks over at the blue-ish fire. "So you just....killed....the people that lived here?.....

"You don't?" Jocelyn asked with curiousity as she looked at Cat before turning her head slightly watching as Derrick entered the room. His body clad in red velvet, golden hair tied back at the nape of his neck, his stance giving off a sense of slight arrogance.

"Joccie dear, you did not tell me we had a visitor" He said as he nodded his head in greeting to Cat.

"You were sleeping Derrick" Jocelyn rolled her eyes.

Cathrine rapped twice on the door, before, shoving it open. It gave her grim satisfaction to her the hinges creak dangerously.
"Hello?"
She felt like a child again, the time where she had looked for her brother in an deserted house.
But we arent in the Middle Ages any more she chided herself with a slow grin.

Jocelyn heard the soft rap on her door, but as it was so late at night she did not think of anything. It wasn't until she heard the door open and someone speaking that she turned her head in the direction of their front door.

"Come in..."

Suddenly blinking, she headed up to the source of the voice/s, footsteps light, and her with a calm empty mind.
More gently now, she softly pushed the door open, emerald eyes narrowing.
"Good Evening..."she murmered.

Jocelyn stood up from her chair, allowing Derrick her vacated spot as she made her way over to the guest. Now what would a good host be without welcoming the guest.

"Good evening, may I offer you a drink?" Jocelyn said as she stood before Cathrine.
