I normally use them in battle, as I am afraid I am of no use with a bow, and only slightly trustworthy with a sword, though I do use the later when needed." Vennir looked briefly at the others, then turned back to Elendi, "When did you arive here?"

Kith hushed Thane, and pointed to a group of newcomers. What were they doing here? He wondered. They krept toward the group, curious of thier intentions. Kith was more than happy to listen from the sidelines, but Thane marched up to the front to observe firsthand what was happening.

Groden ground his mace into the earth impatiently, trying to find some way to vent the energy that he was getting from his current adrenaline rush. "Don't trust him, laddy," he muttered under his breath as he watched Decian and Tajien talk. If the Death-bringer made a false move, Groden would be after him in an instant, ready to pound him into the dirt.

Vincent looked down at the death bringers slightly interested.. he kept and eye on the elemental man named Vennir at all times... he had to make sure the man died by his own hands and none other..

Decian knew the precautions the rebel were taking. Good, they aren't completely stupid, he thought as he relayed messages mentally to the other Death Bringers. Those that brought them began loading their crossbows. The Death Bringers were not just idly standing by; instead they were analyzing the rebels, seeing which ones were crucial to kill. Meanwhile Decian said, "Our purpose is to unite into a coalition. My allegiance is with the elves yet the leaders bid me to join you guys but we shall remain a separate body."

"Of course, m'lady, but... that depends on wheather I am alowed to use elements; if not I will surely have your blade to my throat no sooner than when we get started."

"Well, how else will you get stronger without your elements than failure? I plan to help you have a good hand with a blade so that if you are captured or weakened in some way that you cannot use your elements, you will have something to fight back with." Elendi said, and smiled. "Do you have a sword? And I will either go easy for now, or only use one instead of two swords. You choose."

Kith growled as he saw the cross bows being loaded. They wouldn't take him that easily. He quickly began shifting, but a glance from Thane stopped him Just wait and see what unfolds the half elf's gaze seemed to say. Though I can't see any good. Kith ground his teeth, but remained in his two-legger form. But just to be safe he reached into the minds of the deathbringer's horses.

"I have a sword, and either one is fine with me." He then went over to his pack, which he had lain down on the ground and took out his sword, and fastened it around his waist. Vennir then drew it, the blade singing agaist the rim of his sheath, and glinting in the sunlight. "So, where do you want to start, Elendi?"

"I will use only one sword, but I might be a little rusty." Elendi decided and turned towards him. She unsheathed one of the swords that hung behind her back. It was a long, silver blade that curved at the end slightly so you could behead your foes easier. "Do you mean where are we sparring? I don't mind, you pick."

"Alright..." Vennir looked around, "That clearing, over to your left." He pointed in the direction that he was indicating. They both walked into the small clearing, and it soon became much warmer, due to the fact that the land was more directly exposed to the sun. Vennir moved into a defensive stance, looking at Elendi,

"Your move."

Elendi smiled and said, "Nice spot." Then, as he went into defensive mode, she felt her muscles tighten and triggers in her mind went off. She put both hands on her sword and with a swift movement, used her feet to try and trick his eyesight. She moved left with her dominent foot but then swung right down low and then finished from attacking up high, bringing her blade down towards his left shoulder.

Vennir, somewhat confused, let his reflexes take over, he blocked her blade by he shoulder, and then let his sword slide across hers, and then around to her left side..

Elendi moved out of the way of his swing and swung towards his torso with great speed.

Vennir quickly swung to block Elendi's blow, but unfortunatly, he had not practiced recently. The shock from the very harsh blow all went into his arm. Vennir hissed slightly and dropped his sword down to the ground, cluching his arm. He then looked up at Elendi, who had obviously won the match.

"I suppose I wasn't lying, eh?"
