Katrina shook her head. "No. But close. I don't know why the goverment wanted to do this, but its true. The took me and injected me, wanted to see if they could mimick vampire blood. I was their tessting ground. I may nott be a vampire, I can get sick and hurt and die but never age." Katrina took a deep breath, she had told him, all this time, he was first one she told. "They used me for three years."

Mick let out a small gasp. How did the government even know vampires were real. Katrina had been tested on, she wasn't a vampire, but she will never age. She has immortality. Immagine what the government could do with that. Mick swore under his breath. "I'm sorry." He whispered as he looked at Katrina.

Katrina started to cry, long and hard as she wrapped her arms around herself. She didn't know what to say. But she finally managed to say. "I never told anyone before." She looked at Mick.

Mick looked at Katrina for a moment before moving to sit down next to her. He wrapped her in a light hug. "It's ok. At least you are alive." He whispered.

Katrina buried her head into Micks shoulder. "I know Mick, but I wanted to die so many times." She cried again and before she could stop herself she said. "I still love you."

Mick gently rubbed Katrina's back. He opened his mouth, then closed it. Not knowing what to say, so he decided silence would be the best answer.

Soon Katrina's cries stopped, and she fell asleep right there in Micks arms.

Mick slowly let go, and laid her out along the sofa, after putting a blanket over her, he went upstairs and to his own bed; a freezer-type-thing. When he was safely inside his bed, he slowly fell alseep, though the slightest thing would wake him up.

Katrina smiled in her sleep, although it soon disapeared and was replace with a frown.

Mick woke up to the sound of his phone. The sun had set. It was around 11pm. He climbed out of his 'bed' and picked up the phone. It was Josef. "Just say my senses told me you needed me to research a certain person for a case." The voice on the phone said. Mick grinned slightly. "I will be right over." He stated as he hung up. He walked down the stairs and strode towards the door, picking up his coat on the way out. He quickly shut the door and began to make his way to the car.

When Katirna woke, she wasn't suprised to find her self alone. "Mick must have gone to bed." She said as she got up and headed for the kicthen, she was thirsty. "wonder if Mick has any apple juice." She said out loud as she opened the fridge.

Mick was now standing, looking over the shoulder of one of Josef's computer guys. Mick glanced at Josef, and then looked back at the screen. "So, you say this guy is an ancient vampire, trapped in a children's body?" Josef asked. Mick nodded. "Yes, and from what I have seen he tries to hide what he kills, though he hasn't been doing a very good job of it lately." Mick replied. The computer person sat back, he had found something. On the computer, was a picture of a child around the age of 10. Sandy blond hair with dark charcol black eyes. Said to have died during the Black Death. Vampire. Mick nodded slowly as he looked at the screen. "That's him." He stated.

Katrina looked at the blood, a feeling washed over her. 'Mick wondered if I was vampire, he hasn't aged.' She slowly closed the door. "Could he be a vampire?" She was afraid of the answer.

Josef nodded slowly. "Find him, kill him. If any more bodies are found with bite marks, people will have vampires on their mind. If they are thinking about vampires, then suddenly things start to get noticed. We get noticed." Josef stated as he looked at Mick.
Mick looked at Josef. "Looks like I am going vampire hunting." He stated with a small smile as he made his way towards the door. Josef returned to his desk, as Mick left the room. When Mick was in his car, he drove towards the dead models house, hoping to find some clues.
Soon, he was parking his car and walking up to the house and once inside he began to search. Mick searched through the desk, finding a picture of a child, the same that was shown on the computer. On a back was a letter, to the model. It appeared that the child had hired her for his project. Which of course, he just been a ploy to get her to where he wanted her to go. Alone, with him.

Katrina slowly went to the couch and sat there for a while before turning on the tv.

An address was listed as well as a name, and Mick tucked the photo inside his pocket as he left the appartment. He had soon parked his car infront of a run down house, a vampire scent all around it.
Mick strode up to the door and kicked it open, not bothering to knock. He glanced causiously around. "Chris, step out and meet me. I know who you are and what you have done." Mick stated powerfully. A kid stepped out of the darkness, he smiled showing his fangs. "I doubt that." He hissed as he lunged at Mick. Mick lept to the side, as he grew his fangs and his eyes changed color.
