(Whew I'm glad you guys stopped, or I would've been way behind. Since I haven't posted I'm going to go ahead and post an opening for Rhaen so I don't have to do it Monday.)

Sister, sister, wake. Wake! The whispers blew through Rhaen's tent with a gust of wind. Her brothers and sisters of the forest, the trees. Groggily, Rhaen rolled over on her bedroll and brushed some of the long chestnut tangles out of her eyes. Her eyelids were so heavy with her exhaustion, and she almost rolled back over and fell asleep again, but the whispers came again stronger, more urgent. Rhaen! Blood has been spilt in your land! Your people are dying! She could see the trees outside her tent swaying furiously. Rhaen sat straight up.

Outside she could see the shadows of her companions milling about urgently. Obviously, their elements had spoken to them as well. Rhaen stood quickly and hurriedly dressed, pairing a silver tunic with her brown trousers. She threw her dark green cloak around her shoulders as she stepped out of her tent. She tore down the tent in a rush and packed everything onto her tall black stallion. Then she put two fingers to her lips and whistled loudly. After only an instant, a dark shadow swooped down from the tall trees. It was her falcon, Yaro, and he came to land softly on her shoulder.

Ready to make way at last, she rushed over to where the group had gathered. Tears were already brimming in her eyes, thinking of the downfall of her home, and she did not try to hide her emotion. A teardrop slid down her pale cheek as she said, "Even if we rode as fast as our mounts could carry us, I do not believe we could reach our home in time. The trees have spoken to me. It is lost." She paused, her forehead creased in worry and anguish. "But... something must be done."

Senka watched from the shadows, she had felt the deaths of those from her place of birth, yet she felt she couldn't mourn, after all they banished her into the wilderness when she was only 8, her parents had raised no objections when it was done. Silently she moved into the camp, she didn't know why but she wanted to help them, maybe it was because the killers took her chance for vengance away from her. Silently she stood there, her black cloak covering her face and body, as she waited to be noticed.

Riko Star walked up onto the beach of Lake Meridia, joining his people, who were looking up at the sky. He in turn looked up. Smoke rose from the Valley of the Elementals. No... Riko thought,No...no...NO!!! Minna....I hope you are alright... Tears started to stream down his cheek, Please Minna, be alright...

Callisto turned slightly on her mount, noticing the woman shrouded in black for the first time. Senka. she thought immediately, brief memories of the girl who was banished coming to her mind. It has been years since she had seen her, but under the circumstances, she was fairly certain that the woman among them now was that very girl. Normally she would have been suspicious of the girl whose element was to harness the shadows, but times had changed. "Greetings, we would welcome your aid" she told her in greeting, giving her the warmest smile she could muster while her heart beat in fear for her family. "Are we ready to depart?" she asked the rest of the group.
