This time a small tear slid down Meriana's cheek. she laughed. " wow this is great." she stared at the cake. " ok sooo....i don't know about everyone else...but i want some. " she grined with delight.

Darren poked around the room a bit before he layed down. he layed on the bed. everything seemed to smell a little bit like hay. it was strange to him. he stared at the celieling for quite sometime then fell asleep.

Zepher stood and watched as his youngest daughter was handed the knife to cut the cake. He smiled proud of her.

Gold Dusk couldn't sleep. He decided to take a walk and carefully opened the door to his room. He smiled knowing that his parents were asleep. He didn't think about Darren, and headed outside.

one by one the elders stood and left thankding Galitaia and Zepher on the way out.

Gold Dusk wandered through the woods behing his hut until he came to a little brook. he smiled and stuck his feet into the icy water.

Darren woke up about 30 mins after he had fallen asleep. he tossed and turned. he fineally sat up in his bed. he looked around. he made his way to the door and opened it. he stuck his head out and looked around. he noticed that the front door was slightly ajar. " hmm." he said. he steped out of the room and walked outside. he saw another house not too far off he saw people leaving and then saw Meriana waving to them as they left. he smiled. " so thats where she lives." he started walking twards the house. he thought it would be funny to wait by the side of the house and jump out at her if she came outside. so he snuck to her house through the woods. he passed the brook but did not see Gold Dusk.


Meriana went in her room and was getting dressed into something more comfortable. she wasnt ready to go to bed yet but she wanted to get out of the clothes she had on. her curtins were slightly open, she hadn't noticed. she took off her shirt and let her hair down.

Darren's eyes got big as he watched Meriana but he did not look away.

Meriana felt like someone was watching her but she wasn't sure what. she looked around her room and didn't see anything and assumed everything was ok. she sliped into some diffrent pants.

Darren still watched.

Gold Dusk turned and faced Meriana's house. He saw the light on in her room, but then his attention was drawn to a shadow by the window. He walked ocer as silent as the night wind. His eyes narrowed in anger as he saw what was happening and he grabbed the man by the back of the tunic hauling him away from the window. "You ... Dirty ... I aught to ..."

Darren felt himself being hauled away. " ah..hey wait..." he swung at the guy.

Meriana looked out her window as she heard camotion. she was fully clothed and jumped out her window.
" gold dusk?...is that you?" she asked the two men.

Darren had manged to get gold dusk like he had gotten him. he had him now on his knees. Darren heard Meriana.
" meriana i caught him at your window looking in on you wile you were changing." he said lying bold faced to her.

Meriana gasped and look at gold dusk. " is this true?" she said confused.

" He said as he shifted his weight throwing Darren off balance. "It was in fact quiet the contrary..." His eyes flassed angryily. "I caught him looking at you through the window..." He stood jerking away from Darren's grasp. "However if you don't believe me I can understand and I apologise for any inconvience I caused you." He said turnint to walk back toward the stream.

Meriana was so confused by all this. she loved and trusted Gold Dusk but Darren was the one who was holding him by the collar. she felt confused as well as she looked it.

Darren stood there and walked over to her and tried to hug her. Meriana pushed him off. " Darren...i want to know the truth and i want it now.." she said now looking angry.

Darren looked at her innocently. "meriana i caught him..and-"

"Darren mcdaniel i know you better then you think...i caught you spying on my sister once and i didn't tell a soul...now tell me the truth.." she said taking a step twards him making him take two steps back.

Darren studderd. " ok ok...i was at your window not Gold Dusk." he said sighing. " but i mean no harm done right?" he said being very cocky.

Meriana growled. " NO IT IS WRONG IN ANY SENSE" she screamed.
she stomped twards Gold Dusk. she calmed herself before talking. " honey. i want this man taken to the dragon..maybe Cloudy will have something to do with him." she said getting angry once more.

"It will be dawn in a few hours, we can take him then... unless you don't wish to go ... in which case I will hog tie him and take him now, then leave him there for Altadon to find when he awakens." He said, the last part being very sarcastic. He leaned against a tree.

Meriana calmed down again and sighed. " i guess we can take him tomorrow. i want him locked up." she said glaring. " gosh i feel so exsposed now." she said frowning.

He won't do anything like that while he's at Lrd Zepher's house that I can assure you, and perhaps he will learn a little centar mannering while he's there." He let go of Meriana and walked over to Darren. "Follow me..." He said as he started to walk off into the woods.
