[[ Okay, something needs to be done with this, and my thinking is we should just skip straight ahead to Tia Dalma's shack - the only thing is we'll need someone to play Will ~ Pandora? And I can take Cutler later on, but he isn't much in DMC anyway so it shouldn't be an issue... And I believe Maeth had claimed Davy Jones for later? We'll need him soon when Jack sends Will over to check out the abandoned ship destroyed by the Kraken... Lothybea Squeakerboxxx - Do you think you could take over as Jack while we're at Tia's Shack? Because I'm playing Tia and again, I'd be talking to myself... just for now until Tia's out of the picture? Everything should work out that way, at least that's my thinking...
And if PD ever comes back we can always just fill her in on things - it shouldn't be too difficult. At least by doing this we'll be able to revive KAWEOTH for the summer and keep it going... it's not ready to die yet, I can feel it. *le nod* ]]

[Oh no, if I have Will and A-Rose it is going to get crazy... but I will take on that task... but just a forewarning to you all hehe
I really hope this all works out because this RP cannot die]

[ Perhaps we could just finish the scenes that we were playing? Because there were some important things happening, like Guin washing ashore, Ed was still contemplating about his true love etc.. Not to forget that James and Keyara are getting along like a burningn house
And I'm not sure where Eliza should be then?]

[[Well PD PMed me last night and she still would like to be a part of this, so I think we're just going to continue where we left off when she posts sometime this week; and at this point Elizabeth is in the jail and her father might just be freeing her; unless we've completely dropped that detail. ]]

[ Yay! I'm so happy that we're going to continue this ! It might still be kinda confusing that we're on two ships.. but I love all the intrige that is going on!
And I agree with Panda, Eliza is kinda useless.. but maybe she's still handy because she can still interact with Cutler and eventually run into the Pearl-crew!
Edit: Ara, just wanted to let you know that I was Sqeeeing and drooling over your banner for the last few minutes! Hurray for Norrie! ]

[[ haha thanks Will... I believe it was made by Ammy & yeah, two ships does make it a bit confusing, plus Maribel is also going to be arriving at Tia Dalma's shack on the Hellbourne Privateer with Robyn and company... So there will actually be three ships with our charries instead of two. Bleh I say we should have Elizabeth jump overboard and get eaten by the Kraken... ]]

[I'M BACK! Okay, so this is nothing EPIC but... well, it is something. Something to get restarted with at least. And hopefully everything was alright... I feel very out of character. BUT anyway I left Beckett out 'cause I figured he wasn't needed just yet... we'll bring him in later at a opportune moment. and I don't think I missed any others... correct me if I'm wrong.]
Will’s brow knitted at the sight of a… drawing? A very ratty, dirty drawing of a-a key? “This?” with a knitted brow he snatched it from Jack’s hand and examined it for himself. He looked it over before slowly turning his eyes back to Jack, “and what exactly is this?” He didn’t intend to get himself into another one of Jack’s twisted labyrinths. He had already been there and done that… but for Elizabeth, to help Elizabeth he might have to.
-----------------------
“Eh, what was that?” Joe, still lounging against the side of the ship, turned his attention and eyes up to Vari. She had said his name, right? But perhaps she was still half mad the way she had been when she had attacked that redhead.
"Tis a fine vessel, is it not?" Lucette appeared out of nowhere, causing Joe to jump. Her eyes, however, were on Vari. They were practically burning a hole through Vari. She weaseled her way between the two and, still standing, leaned her back against the railing, looking them over.
-----------------------
Cole was now alone with Nathan. The ship swayed to and fro calmly; the silence, smell, and dimness was ghastly now to him. He glanced over at Nathan in the awkward pause. He wasn’t sure what to say, he didn’t really know this fellow well enough to say anything. “Umm, I think I’ll see how my sister is doing,” he excused himself and hurried to the top deck.
-----------------------
“We need to get her onto the ship!” Carmon cried. Her cry came out as more of a broken squeak, however, due to her illness and the sudden excitement. She looked to Sam for help as Guin fell to their feet. She gently, motherly knelt down and brushed a tangled, wet strand of hair from the woman’s face, coughing slightly. “She looks so thin and worn,” she murmured between coughs.

[[@ Will, I’ll still need you to reply to my last Keyara post before I can keep going with her.
@ PD, length isn’t everything, it’s all about the quality, which was pretty good for not being here in the longest time. I’m proud of you for getting down to business and reviving KAWEOTH. ]]
Jack simply smirked at Will, peering over his shoulder as he looked over the drawing. “That my dear boy, is a key - a very important key, savvy? This key will be crucial in unlocking secrets… and doors. Prison doors, behind which are being kept your dolly belle. And so the finding of this finds you incapacitorially finding and or locating in your discovering the detecting of a way to save her…which goes not to say that in order to do so you must first retrieve the key. Do this for me, and I shall trade you my compass.” He left it at that with the offer dangling, putting Will in a position that would make it nearly impossible to refuse. “Mr. Gibbs! Take us up river - I’ve an unyielding need to visit her…”
-----------------------
Vari opened her mouth to speak, but closed it again as Lucette slipped into the conversation. She didn’t like this woman one bit, as anyone could see by the way Vari’s nails dug into the ship’s railing, raking across them as she so wished to do with Lucette’s throat. “Cur Sarnoso *,” Vari breathed in her second language before turning her gaze up towards the crow’s nest with a fake smile across her features. “Beautiful indeed… please excuse me.” And with that, Vari gripped onto the network of ropes leading towards the sky, climbing with the skill of a spider on a web, until she had reached the very top. The view from up here was breathtaking, gazing out over miles and miles of shimmering sapphire water - it certainly made a pirate appreciate the freedom of the sea and the lifestyle they had chosen. To be up here alone with her thoughts was one of Vari’s most favorite things to do, even if it did happen to get lonely sometimes. But this was exactly what she needed right now - a break from all of the chaos and heartbreak that awaited down below.
[[ *It means “Mangy Cur” in Spanish, a slight insult I felt was pretty fitting ]]
-----------------------
Edward squinted in the bright sunlight as he looked up at the blinding blue sky. “Save for the fact that I’ve never seen the Kraken before, nor do I honestly believe in it…but I must agree that it does resemble some sort of sea monster…” he continued staring upwards in thought, hardly noticing as yet another person joined their merry sky-watching club.
This time however, the person did not trip or fall, rather just planted himself between Dante and Aurora in a calm and collected fashion. “You’re right, Ed, it does look like some sort of beast, though I for one, agree that is rather Kraken-shaped in appearance,” Soren remarked, with a slight smile tingeing the ends of his lips. “But I’d rather not get into some sort of grand discussion as to the tangibility of real or mythical creatures.” Soren shrugged and took Dante’s hand in his own as the group continued trying to figure out what each cloud looked like or even the meaning of their shapes.
[[Is that too much for you, PD? ]]
-----------------------
Shaelyn leaned back, cupping her hands to her mouth and yelled, “Carmon and Sam!!! Hurry up down there! Can’t ye see the other ship is leavin’?!” With a slight growl she rolled her eyes, the impatient side of her becoming dominant. She turned to Alanna with a haughty smirk and crossed her arms over her chest. “Well whate’re we’re doin’, we’d better decide quickly because those Cannibals could return any minute… not that Carmon and Sam wouldn’t provide some wonderful nourishment for them,” Shaelyn laughed viciously, while planting her feet on the railing of the ship and steadying her upper half by grabbing onto one of the ropes from above. “Applegate, Selby, we ain’t gonna wait forever!”
-----------------------
As soon as even the smallest sign of chaos appeared in Andrea, Tia noticed the slightest movement beneath Hector’s eyelids. “Hush! De both ‘a you… an’ wait…” she held up her hand before placing it upon Hector’s forehead. “Him soul returns, slowly, but surely it is dere,” Tia breathed, closing her eyes and feeling the soft pulse of life filling Hector’s body, stale blood beginning to warm and move once more, his pallid face rapidly gaining color. After so many spells and ancient medicines, all of Tia’s hard work had reached fruition, even if Hector would still be too weak to get out of bed for the next few days.
-----------------------
After MP passed by the group of girls and turned into the tavern behind them, Robyn looked to her friends. “Lucky day, indeed. I would advise you to pack your belongings, if you have any… and hold your tongues. We’d best not get on anyone’s bad side, especially if said ‘anyone’ is offering safe passage out of this wig-infested town.”
“Robyn, this isn’t what I had in mind…” Audrina Pierce-Kimberling trailed off. They were supposed to be looking for her sister, but well, that had all seemed to have been forgotten upon meeting this gold-clad woman. “How do you know we can trust her? What if this is just another trick set up by the East India Company?” Although she was the oldest of the group, it was in Robyn that Audrina had placed her faith, and the Tortuga native had not let her down thusfar.
“We will find Ashlea, I promise. But for now, we must grasp this opportunity tightly if we are to receive something in return. If we help her, she’ll help us, and then both her daughters and your sister will be found.” Sea-green eyes were the final reassurance to Audrina that everything would be okay. “All right… let’s head inside and prepare for tomorrow and get some rest; already the sun is beginning to sink beyond the horizon and dawn will come quickly.”

(Hooray for KAWEOTH! )
Guinevere vaguely heard Carmon’s voice as the young woman knelt down beside her. She couldn’t distinguish the sound of her voice into words, though; her head was filled with a low-pitched buzzing, and her eyelids did not flicker open again. It was quite clear that she was beyond dragging herself onto the ship, and would need to be literally carried. If Guin had been fully conscious, she would have fiercely objected, but as it was, she wasn’t. Her head twitched slightly as Carmon brushed a strand of hair from her face, and she made a noise that sounded somewhere between a wheeze and a cough.

Morgaine ignored Andrea’s blunt question concerning her identity with a calm smile, and hastened to Tia’s side. She remained silent, as Tia required, as the woman discovered Hector Barbossa’s pulse. Slowly, he was returning from death, after all of Tia’s hard work to bring him back. His skin was no longer that ghostly shade, but was taking on the hue of one with breath in his body. Morgaine looked on, her expression tranquil, observing the scene with interest. She could not help wondering why this man had been so important to bring back. He was of some importance to the blonde woman, clearly. Stepping away from the pirate captain, Morgaine swiftly moved from the incident that was unfolding, her footsteps silent.
“A returning soul,” she said softly, more to herself than to Tia or Andrea, her hand straying to the golden eagle pendant at her throat. She closed her eyes, hardly knowing she did so, gripped by a sudden warm haze of light that filled her head like a beacon. Dreamily, she laughed, and in a sudden flash the vision of a ship with black, tattered sails filled her mind. Abruptly her eyelids opened and the light in her head dispersed, taking the ship away with it. The sight came and went like that; she was used to it by now. All the same…
No point in making a fuss of it, though. Tia already knew that they were expecting visitors. Morgaine often caught snatches of what was to come, slim visions of what might come to be. The sight never surprised her very much, nor, she imagined, did it surprise Tia. After all, her friend had powers of her own far beyond human reckoning.
~~~
Eve silently listened to the conversation between Robyn and Audrina, pushing a strand of fair hair back from her eyes. It seemed that tomorrow already held something new for them; just the new beginning that they needed. She, too, was slightly apprehensive about the woman who called herself MP; they had no idea who she was, and only knew that she wanted them to help find her daughters. But at the same time, Eve was unutterably grateful to the stranger for giving them the chance to get away from Port Royal. Chances like this didn’t come very often, and Eve was not about to worry herself about the possible consequences.
Eve certainly didn’t have many belongings to pack for the journey, so that definitely wouldn’t take too long. Already, she was anxious for the morning to come quickly; they couldn’t linger in this place too long.
“If we can trust that woman or not, all the same, she’s done us a good turn,” she commented quietly. “And you’re right, Robyn – if we help her, she might help us.” She gave one of her small smiles. “Shall we go in and pack our scarce possessions, then?”
The touch to his shoulder had Shiloh tensing up and his instincts would have taken over if the familiar sight of Zoe came into his peripheral vision. That blond hair interlaced with dark strands was the first giveaway and then Zoe stepped before him taking his hand into hers leaving a warm wake along his arm that did not seem to leave.
"Thanks..." Was all Shiloh said, a little breathy. Most likely because he was still a bit wobbly on his feet, but it seemed to be getting better as a calm rushed through him stemming from that spot on his wrist that Zoe was massaging.
"Don't tell anyone about this. I should be used to all of this now, even though I haven't been on a ship for a long time, but still..." With the shrug of his shoulders he let his eyes finally meet Zoe's a weak smile on his lips.
----
Aurora laughed at Carmel's comment, watching Dante intently as he tried to keep a calm face, one that did not give himself away. He succeeded except for the fiery light in his eyes. "Aye, that's the one. Dante is quite a looker but I must say Soren is... " Aurora-Rose's words trailed off into a low growl which finally got a true reaction from Dante, a swift tug of her dark strands.
Aurora's laughter only increased, not seeing Felix joining their watching the sky. "Call yerself lucky then, although I've only seen the Kraken in story books it is still a terrifying sight." Aurora had finally calmed down enough to speak, between little chuckles curling up beside Dante. But she found herself soon being moved slightly as the blond beauty, named Soren, finally found himself in the mesh of pirates.
Aurora-Rose didn't seem to mind, she just shifted herself and rested her head against Soren's lap, 'much more comfortable' she thought to herself.
"Yer hopeless A-Rose" Dante said even as he tightened his hold on Soren's hand, a silent gesture, nothing else needed to be said. Although he didn't want to admit it, Aurora's idea to just sit and watch the sky for now was quite relaxing. They hadn't had some time to just rest and bask in the company of each other in a while.
Who knew what would be happening soon but he sensed it wasn't good.
"Whatever..." Aurora mumbled, finding herself falling asleep on Soren's lap.
James catched the Bible, and glanced at it shortly, before throwing it back to Keyara. Her insults meant nothing to him. He didn't want to believe that they meant anything. After the incidents of last weeks his pride had been broken. All he ever worked for and wanted to achieve had vanished. But James couldn't just admit that to himself just yet. He refused to believe that.
"All my life," Norrington replied to Keyara, while taking a step closer to her. "has been dedicated to the welfare of the nation, of Port Royal and of its people. I sacrificed many things in order to achieve that. My only intention has been to what's good in the eyes of God, the King's and my own conscious.." He paused a moment , breathing deeply as he looked intently at Keyara. "Now you tell me Pierce," he continued in a low voice. "What good have you done? It can't be significant judging from the fact where your loyalties lie now."
With that, Norrington turned his back on her and boarded the ship.
-------------
Sam looked in astonishment at the woman who'd apparently washed ashore. For a moment numbed by flash of memory. The raid. The endless lengths of cold water. The damned pirate ship that found her..
The redhead abruptly looked up, as Shaelyn shouted their names.
"We must go.." she stated and she looked at her frail and feeble friend and then to the unconscious girl. "I will carry her. Come on.." Immediately she pulled Guin on her knees and lay her arm over her shoulder and made way to the gangplank.
"Ed! Shae! Aurora!" she called over to her friends. "This woman needs help." She approached the group of cloud-watchers. "She needs water and food." Sam panted. "And I'm not sure if she is injured.."
She tried to meet Ed's gaze and for a moment she was struck with the thought that Edward looked different. Perhaps he was still shaken up by the struggle with Vari.. or did it mean something else?
Shrugging off that feeling she turned to her fiance. "Ed.. can you help me?"
------
Nathaniel watched first Edward and then Cole leave, and then ascended the stairs to the upper deck as well. He sauntered over to the group of pirates who seemed grouped around a woman, yet he was unable to see her. He nudged Shaelyn, who was standing closeby and said with a grin. "Please don't tell me that we're taking a cannibal aboard?"
“Shy, why would I tell anyone that you’ve been as sick as a dog since the moment you stepped on deck?” Zoe asked innocently, adding in a wide eyed blink for effect. “But it’s okay, you will get use to it.” Leaning in she whispered in Shiloh’s ear. “Trust me.”
Leaning back again she walked forward and rested herself against the ship’s railings, looking out to the open sea. She closed her eyes and opened herself up to the elements, letting the cool sea breeze hit her skin. She felt a slight chill and opened her eyes, gazing out to the horizon where she saw the clouds darken. She smirked slightly and turned to look at Shiloh again.
“There’s a storm coming, a bad one by the feel of it. Think you can ride it out?” She said it light-heartedly but there was something else in the air and in her words, different to the electricity of the storm they were heading into. An even larger storm lay ahead and it wasn’t anything to do with the weather.
-
Andrea felt her heart speed up and quickly joined Tia Dalma at Hector’s side. Her face broke into a wide smile. He was alive. She could see it; his cheeks were slowly gaining colour, his chest began to rise and fall steadily and his eyes were twitching as if he was trying to open them. Gently she stretched out to touch his hand, her fingers slowly stroking the warming skin. She wanted to grasp it and never let go, but she dared not.
Slowly she let her hand drop to her side, suddenly wary of her surroundings. She was reminded of a night just over ten years ago, when she awoke to find herself in a place she didn’t recognise, surrounded by unfamiliar people and things. She recalled how disorientated she had been, lashing out until several crew members, including Hector, managed to restrain her. It was only then that she remembered the fierce storm, the powder magazine catching, the ensuing explosion and being flung into the cold dark waters. She was now concerned as to how her Captain would react when he awoke. She turned to Tia.
“Should we perhaps restrain him? For his safety as well as our own?” She bit her lip and turned to gaze upon Hector again. More fears rose to the surface of her mind. What if he had no memory of her? Or begrudged her for dragging him back into the world of the living? Perhaps she shouldn’t be here when he awoke, but then again a familiar face might help to calm him? No, she would stay. She couldn’t let her fear overcome her, she was stronger than that! Besides; he would do the same for her. Or at least she hoped.
-
Alanna sighed and looked over to the Pearl, relieved to see her finally start to set sail. “Haul loose the mooring line and prepare to cast off! Keep to the shallows as much as we possibly can.” She called out to whoever was listening, hoping to pull everyone out of their daydreams. “Someone lend Sam and Carmon a hand for god sake. Come on people move it!”
Felix was alert as soon as he heard Alanna’s booming voice, holding out a hand to Carmel he helped her to her feet before the pair rushed to do their duties, excitement and adrenaline rushing through their veins.
-
Carlist stood back from the scene, not far from Gabriel. He caught the blonde man’s eye and raised an eyebrow, trying hard not to laugh. On the outside. On the inside however, Norrington’s words had struck a chord in him. Where did his loyalties lie? That was absurd. His loyalties lay with his King and his commanding officers. He had proved that had he not, when he sunk the pirate ship that belonged to his sister, his own flesh and blood? But he hadn’t known that at the time, he hadn’t know his sister was a pirate, let alone the fearsome pirate captain he had been chasing. Would he still have done it had he known?
