Smiling softly, Darius kissed Rosalina on her cheek before walking out of the room to carry his lady to the guestroom. Lying her down gently on the bed, he lightly brushed her dark hair from her face as he just let her sleep.

"She had another seizure," Daniel told Gareth softly as he sat down on the bed.
"What?" Gareth hissed.
"Everything just happened so fast. One minute she was talking with Rosalina and the next she was convulsing. I couldn't do much to help her..."
Exhaling sharply, Gareth did not know what to think. "This is the third seizure she had in a matter of day---maybe less. This cannot be good..." he muttered. "I just hope this will not leave any permanent damage," he remarked as he turned to glance at Calista unconscious on the bed.

Tenderly tucking Rosalina in, Darius just hoped that her rest would be a peaceful one...especially after everything she did to help Calista.

"What can we do to help her?" Daniel asked Gareth.
"We have to try and bring down her temperature," Gareth remarked. "And then make sure she gets plenty of rest, eats well enough so she can recover her strength and drinks enough fluids so she does not dehydrate."
"Do you think she will be all right?" Daniel asked him softly.
"She just has to," came Gareth's determined reply.

Rosalina couldn't stay alseep, worry for the other woman kept her awake. She had at least 2 sezizures that she knew off. rosalina sighed and opened her eyes, her vison was still blurry. "Dary?"

"Yes, love?" Darius questioned as he gently lifted Rosalina into his arms. "What's wrong?" he asked her concern in his blue eyes, wishing that she would just relax and get some rest. She needed it after everything that happened.

Turning his attention back to Calista, Gareth gently ran his fingers along her cheek and sighed sadly.
"What is it?" Daniel asked, the expression on Gareth's face not lost upon him. "What's wrong?" he asked, his voice tight.
"Her fever has not dropped," he whispered. "Gently dab her face and neck with water. I am going to try and prepare her a broth and pray that she will be able to drink it," he whispered, worried that her seizures may have damaged her brain.

Darius remained silent for a moment as he pondered her question. "Most of the time it was one seizure at a time. There was however one instance when you had two, but they were spaced rather far apart," he remarked softly, not liking to be forced to relive such memories. "And thankfully they did not leave any lasting negative effects, save for you being extremely tired," he added. Sighing softly, he drew in a deep breath as he ran his fingers through her hair, knowing what she was worried about. "However, I must be honest with you Ro. I cannot predict if there will be any lasting ramifications for Calista---her age being a factor. Your seizures occurred as a child. She is getting hers as an adult," he added softly. "How long was she without air?"

Nodding at Gareth, Daniel dipped a second cloth in water and gently dabbed Calista's face and neck with it. Rising from the bed, Gareth rekindled the fire and went out to the well to fetch a bucket of fresh water. Once finished he poured the water into a pot and set it over to a fire to boil while he crushed the variety of herbs.

Rosalina thought. "I do not know how long. the seizure lasted for around 5 minutes after she stopped breathing, I couldn't do anything then. But she turned blue Dary, dark blue."

Sighing softly, a slight frown passed over Darius' face. "That is not good," he whispered softly. "I do not have much knowledge of medical lore, but if I were to hazard a guess, the seizure in itself will not cause any lasting damage but going without oxygen for a while might."

Placing his ear near Calista's lips, Daniel just checked to make sure that his daughter was still breathing. "What wrong?!" Daniel exclaimed suddenly as Gareth placed some of the herbs in the boiling water. "Why won't she wake up?" he questioned, his concerns not at all eased by her shallow breathing.
"I-I don't know," Gareth said softly, fear and worry in his own eyes.

"Shh, my love. There is no reason to blame yourself. You did everything that you could. If it had not been for you, Calista would have been dead before Gareth and I returned,” he added. Sighing to himself Darius remained silent for a few minutes. “Gareth could sense that something was wrong, and I told him that everything was fine,” he whispered. “Looks like he was right to be concerned after all.”

“I should have come back sooner,” Gareth mumbled to himself as he mixed more herbs into the broth and stirred it with a ladle. “I could sense something was wrong and I did nothing!” he shouted as Daniel looked up with a start.
“What?” the old man asked.
Turning to look at the woman’s father, Gareth had remorse in his eyes. “I could feel that something was wrong. I should have returned immediately. But I didn’t. And now…now…” Gareth muttered as he grimaced visibly. “I failed her. You were right when you demanded my life long ago.”
Getting up from the bed, Daniel hit him across the jaw. “Stop it!” he yelled. “You were not here because you were trying to help Calista. My daughter loves and needs you. And after this, she will need your support now more than ever. Can you give that to her? Can you be strong for her?”

"Yes, that is the only thing that we can do. And just help her as much as we can," Darius remarked before kissing the crown of Rosalina's head. "But in all honesty, how are you feeling?" he asked her.

"Will you be there for her?" Daniel asked Gareth as the mage just seemed to stare at him in shock.
"I could never leave her," Gareth remarked softly.
"Good." Daniel remarked. "Now, how is that broth coming?"
Turning his attention back to the brew, Gareth mixed it a bit more before scooping some in a cup. Walking over to the bed, Gareth lifted her into his arms and lightly placed the decanter against her lips and poured a bit of the liquid into her mouth only to have it dribble out and slide down her chin and neck.

Giving her a sad smile, Darius wrapped his arms around her all the tighter. "I know you are worried, my love, but try and rest. This stress is not good for you either," he said softly before kissing her forehead.

"These herbs won't help if she can't drink it!" Daniel exclaimed, worry in his eyes. "Come on, daughter. Please try..." he whispered to the woman who lay remained limp in Gareth's arms. Gently adjusting her to a sitting position where her head was tilted back, Gareth gently poured some of the liquid into her mouth. Yet in his worry and haste to get the healing herbs into her body, he poured the drink a bit too quickly and she started to choke as small bubbles formed at her mouth and a small stream of the broth flowed from her mouth and Gareth instantly pulled the cup back.
"Not too quickly!" Daniel exclaimed as the woman continued to choke in the mage’s arms.
