George hummed an old tune as he settled down for the night. The day had been a hard one: he finished collecting his payment from Merek's gang, he had to fight a green horn thief who was niave enough to think he could take the throne, and he was nearly captured after a theft went awry. Right now, the king of thieves was just glad to be done with the day.

Alanna emerged into her bedroom and took a long shower, dressed into her clean dinner clothes and then went back to the dining hall..

Layien changed her blue tunic to an red one quickly, having no time to change her breeches because she was almost late. She pulled on her saliors boots and ran out the door, into the dinning hall. She barely made it in time.

Jon sat in the corner with his buddies. Alex had said a joke, and the group started luaphing. Jon took a bight of bread, when he spotted Alan.
"Hey Alan, why don't you come over here and sit with up?" he called...
