Scarlett's eyes flutter, and her head spins. She mutters vaguely, and cries silently to herself. The onyl sounds she can hear are her own harsh, ragged breathing and the slight, dying bubbling of the now greenish liquid.

Amanda wanted to close her ears and her eyes. There were so many voices around her...Kira...and another female she didn't know...yet it sounded so familiar. "Angel of Mercy..." she finally whispered weakly. "Why...?"

Scarlett could see Amanda looking over at her, and could see her lips moving. She shook her head and closed her eyes, frowning with the pain.

Finally the bubbling subsidesd. Kira sat amad up as best as she could, andporu the liquied down hert throuaht, hoping Amanda would not choke.

Amanda stirred in her semi-concious state and tried to get the liquid out of her mouth again. A part of it ran down on her chin again, but she swallowed most of it. Exhausted, she fell back in Kiras' arms. She was still trembling all over, bathed in sweat. Tears ran down her face as she curled up to the side and clutched on Kiras' arms.

Her lips trembled as she spoke, no, tried to speak coherently. It wasn't just her lips that trembled, either. She was shaking, rocking slightly, tears creating a miniature waterfall on her face.

Amanda whimpered and went closer to her friend, hanging on her shirt. She didn't know anymore what was happening around her. Slowly, she struggled to open her eyes again and looked at Scarlett, her eyes shining with fever and with her tears. "Angel of Mercy...look at me...please...why...why have you done this...? I am just like you...I show mercy...so...what was your reason? Was...was there even one...? Tell me...I want to know..."

"Th-theres no mercy-" Scarlett breathed, "in death."
She shuddered, pushing away the voices of her subconsious mind and her doubts. She'd made her decision already - why wouldn't they stop shouting at her?

"What if our ill, and every moment your awake your filled with pain, death is a realise. I know, I can feel it, I know what is like for people when they die if I touch them. Or how about those who are tourtured not just physicly, death is mercy." Kira said remembering all the times she had felt a persons death.

Scarlett muttered a little to herself.
"You have no way pf knowing what happens after death! You- you can't make that assumption!" She was shaking her head, tears still running down her face, giving the impression of slight insanity. She was gasping for breath, partly because she was panicking, partly because of the pain.
"The- the world can't just end when you die.. you can't know what happens after it!"
