Meriana tried not to laugh as May hit Gold Dusk in the nose. " love, are you ok?" she asked Gold Dusk as he sat back up.
May looked over at Gold Dusk. " i'm so happy for you both." she smiled and huged them. " i'm sorry for spazing out like that."
Meriana laughed. " your deffantly not as timid as you used to be." Meriana thought for a moment. " why arent you living with mother?" she asked.
the smile left may's face. she began to tell her what had happen with the fire and all, and that she saw darren do it and that he had killed both their mother and grandmother.
Meriana's rage was tremondous now. she stood up and walked over to a tree and kicked it. she kept kicking it and started screaming in anger. she fell on the ground and started to cry again...
May stayed where she was. she didn't know what to do.

Darren watched Cloudya go in her room. <i> i guess i will sleep here...</i> he thought. he eyed the dragon..<i> maybe i should stay awake, the beast may eat me..</i> he thought.

Altadon said as he curled around so his head was on the ledge outside the cave entrance.

Gold Dusk walked over and gently lifted Meriana from where she lay and rocked her gently.

Meriana was angry..so angry she didn't want to be touched. " no..." she pulled away and walked futher out into the meadow.

May didn't know what to do she stayed in the same place.

Darren jumped when he heard the dragon talk to him again. " ugh...i should have known you could hear my thoughts..." he glared at the dragon. he went and layed on the couched and was soon asleep.

Altadon ignored Darren's last comment and was soon asleep.

Cloudya woke early as usual. She smiled as she checked the wounds of the day before, and once again was very glad of the link she shaired with Altadon. Not only was her life longer, but it took less time to heal anything ... even a broken bone. She made breakfast, then dressed in her normal ridding outfit and picked up her sword. She made her way outside into the ledge where she did her normal morning warmups.

Gold Dusk didn't stay where he was, instead he walked out into the medow away from Meriana, then knelt down and stayed there head bowed as if he were praying.

Meriana fell asleep where she had walked out into the meadow. Meriana dreamt of sweet things despite of her night. she dreamt of her beloved and of her sisters. and her newly found family.

May had fallen asleep. May still did not know that there were two centars near.

Cloudya turned and stopped herself just before hitting Darren. "I'm sorry ... I didn't mean to wake you." She said looking at him.

Gold Dusk opened his eyes, but didn't move. He haddn't realised he had ben sitting there all night.

Cantarious and Sun Fire carefully made their way toward the small group. Cantarious spoke. "Young ones... it is morning, we have a long way to travle and here you sit ... wake up!"

Meriana was a good ways away from the rest of the group and still slept. dawn was coming.

May woke up and saw the centars..she gapsed..." ok....whoa.." she said softly..

Darren jumped up off the couch and landed behind it. " whoa...oh..um...it's ok." he yawned.." it's almost dawn anyway." he smiled slightly. " i'm sorry for the way i acted yesterday.." he said looking down at his feet.

"It's alright... I'm done practicing, you can go bakc to sleep if you like." She sheathed her sword and headed to where the saddle lay. Altadon ... you're going to have to help me fix this

Altadon turned his head and looked at her. You know how to fix it Bonded... just do it.
Cloudya nodded and was suddenly surrounded by a blue glow ahs her hands seemed to mold the leather like soft clay.

Darren was just about to lay down again when he saw a blue light. he looked over at Cloudya and relized it was coming from her. he stared for a moment then walked behind her. but kept his distance. he watched in amazment.

Meriana woke up with the morning sun peering down on her. she looked around. she saw Cantarious and sunfire. then she saw her sister looking at them in awe. then she saw Gold Dusk getting up. her mind quickly raced back to that night before. she remembered how she pushed Gold Dusk away. <i> he must feel horrible...</i> she thought.
her eyes were a little red from last night. she stood up and walked over to the group her head lowered.

Gold Dusk turned and walked toward May where she sat stareing. He gently lifted her and placed her on Cantarious's back. Then walked over and lifted Meriana up onto Sun Fire's back. He didn't say a word, only turned toward home and started walkeding. Sun Fire and Cantarious followed.

When Cloudya was done the light faded and she streached realiseing that her muscles were cremped from sitting to long in one position. She stood then picked up the saddle and turned seeing the strange look on Darren's face.

Darren cleared his throat.." i'm sorry..it's just i've never seen anyone do that before." he said with a curious tone.

Meriana was expecting Gold Dusk to say atleast good morning to her...but he didn't. she sighed. " sunfire.." she wispered. " are you mad at me?" she asked hoping her best friend wouldnt be mad at her.

"Well it helps to be bonded to a Dragon. I'm sure you'll see me do many more such things, now if you'll excuse me." Cloudya said smileing as she stepped past him to saddle Altadon. "I have a morning patrol, I'll be back around lunch, it you get hungery there's tarts on the table." She said as she climbed up into the saddle.

SunFire looked over her shoulder at Meriana, "Why would I be mad at you?" She asked her golden eyes wide with curiosity.

Meriana sighed and huged her friend. " um..no reason. i was a little rude with ur brother last night and i didn't know if he said anything to you. anyway it doesn't matter. i'll talk to him later." she said.

May was a little nervous on top of cantarious. she almost fell off a few times.

Cantarious looked back over his shoulder at the girl sitting there. "Don't be afraid to hold on young one... I don't bite." He chuckled softly.

May held on to his sholders tightly she had never really been on a horse before. this was sort of the same thing. " thank you.." she said.

Meriana thought for a moment and then jumped off of Sunfire's back. " i need to take care of something.." she said before she started walking twards Gold Dusk.

SunFire nodded as she watched Meriana walk toward Gold Dusk.

Gold Dusk heard Meriana walk up. It wasn't that he was mad at her. In face it was the complete opisite... If she needed space he would give it to her without question, and until she told him otherwise he would keep his distance.
