Bret hugged Shonna back, then turned to Ace. "A key to the sickness? That's the best news I've head in a long time!" he smiled as he offered her his hand.

Aliana nodded. "Sounds fine with me. Do you have any a walkie-talkie where we can contact each other? Or should we just decide on a meeting spot and agree to meet at a certain time?"

Ace turned red and looked down at the mention of her being the key. Due to the fact this would envolve needles, she wasn't too interested in there being a key at all at the moment. She spoke quietly and glanced up as she shook his hand, then returned her gaze down. "Nice to meet you."

Bret nodded and motioned towards one of the rooms near the lab. "You can go in there. I just need to grab some stuff then I'll be there." Jack had been showing him how to do bloodwork, and Bret had taken an introductory first aid course in high school. Between both of those, he figured he'd be fine.

Trudy thought, i'll take the one down the ally. he might have gone down there who knows." she smiled and started walking down the ally.

Shonnalen watched as Ace tried to hide her nervousness.

Trudy looked around every corner she came upon. she was very nervous and cautious. no one was around and it seemed dark and deserted. a perfect place for someone to have tashed a body. she quickly pulled that thought from her mind and kept goin. she had her gun out and was willing to shoot anyone who came in her path.

Bret came into the room, holding a few syringes and bandages. He smiled at Ace. "It'll only take a few minutes." he said.
"So, how do you like it at the mall so far?" he started drawing blood, trying to keep Ace somewhat distracted from it at the same time.

((He's a free for all right now.))

Ace cringed when she saw the needles, but she let him do what needed to be done.

After a few minutes, Bret was done. He put small bandages on the pricks, then smiled. "That's all. Now we'll see if we can't get some good clues from it." He held up one of the syringes to the light.
