Cloudya's face went hot and she was thankful May was behind her so she couldn't see. "No, I was asked to keep an eye in him for a while and perhaps teach him a few manners." She strapped herself down to the saddle and made sure May had donw the same before she gave Altadon the signal to fly.

"Hey now!" Gold Dusk said splashing into the water after Meriana. "That's not fair..." He splashed her back.

Meriana giggled. " it is too fair!!" she said. she acted like they were kids again. she splashed him a lot! " no way you can win this battle Goldy!!" she said laughing. she called him that occasionally to irritate him.

"Alright Ana..." He splashed toward her, but tripped on a rock and face planted in the water. He came up sputtering. "Oh that... was so wrong..." He brushed long blond hair back from his face and grinned at her.

Altadon took a running leap from the ledge where May had been sitting moments before.

May watched the ground disapper under her. she was enjoying this.
Darren came outside once he knew they were gone.
he looked into the sky and a flash of Cloudya's face came into his mind. he wondered why that had happend. he shruged and went back inside.

Meriana tried not to laugh and burst out laughing when Gold Dusk sliped. she went under the water just enough so that her eyes were out of the water. she got really close to him and then stood up and huged him. she went in like she was about to kiss him then spit water in his face. she laughed and tried running away through the water.

Gold Dusk's mouth dropped open in mock horror, and he grabbed her before she could get to far away. "Oh no you don't... "He looked up as a shadow passed over head. "Hey look ... it's Altadon!" He said jumping out of the stream.

Meriana sighed. " leaves me for the dragon..." she mumbles and reluctently gets out of the water.
she walks over beside Gold Dusk and sighed.

May jumped off of Altadon and waved goodbye to Cloudya.
May walked over to her wet sister, and her soon to be brother in law. she laughed at them. Meriana grined and huged may tightly. " welcome back." she said grining as she let go. May sighed and rolled her eyes. " this place is beautiful." she said smiling.

It was dark by the time Cloudya got backto the cave. She had patrolled the valley in silence, not that it had bothered Altadon. He had mearly taken the time to sift through her thoughts and find out what was bothering her.

Darren had been sitting at the edge of the cliff when they came in. he jumped up when he saw them coming. he quickly ran inside the cave and then came out when they landed. " so all is well?" he asked cheerfully, so pleased that May was gone.

"Everything's fine." Cloudya said as she unstrapped Altadon's saddle. She kept her back to him not wanting to look at him just yet.

while Cloudya was gone. Darren relized he had somewhat of an affection for her. but..he didn't think it was mutual. so he sighed and told himself that if he was going to live with her for a while then he must enjoy it while he can. so he said that he would be most helpful to her as much as he could.
he saw her face. she had a confused look on her face. " my lady are you alright?" he asked.

"I'm fine ... just tired that's all." She took the saddle and headed into the cave. She waved her hand lighting the celining with blue fire. "Ahh and then there was light." She said as she put the saddle on it's stand.

Darren watched her, still amazed by her powers. " my lady is there anything i can do for you." it was ovious that he was trying despratly to get her to let him do something. he wasnt sure how she would take it. maybe she would take it as just him being bored and wanting something to do, on the other hand she might see it for what it truely was. a sign of his affection.

Cloudya stopped her back still to him, "Yes... I have a name I would perfer to be called by it." She turned searching his face. "I apologise ... that was harsh." She saw the affection he had for her and she turned back to head for her quarters.

Altadon stuck his head into the cave entrance. "You like her... Don't you?" He asked eyeing Darren with an emerald eye.

he stood there silent for a moment until Altadon stuck his head in and asked him a question. Darren might as well jumped out of his skin. " why do you always seem to do that to me......." he grumbled. " and what do you mean do i like her?" he snaped.

"If it helps she likes you too..."Altadon said as he settled into his hole. "Suggestion ... go set the table before she comes back ... suprise her." He said cosing his eyes.

but he wanted to be helpful so when he suggjested that he set the table he went to it. he rumaged around and found everything. he made it look as good as he could.
