Corison stopped int he door way to the kitchen before walking over to place a hand on her sisters shoulder. "Lanie ... David's going to take me to the last tournament tonight..." She waited for her sister's reaction.

Corison pulled on her jacket and stepped outside pulling the door shut behind her. She turned to see David wiating, the aftrnoon was perfect a light breeze tossed her ebony curls playfuly.

"Do you honestly think I would joke about that?" corison asked turning to look at him.
The sound of laughter mixed with the squeal of tires caught her attention. A red convertable screached to a stop and several of the foot ball team members piled out. "Hey David ..." One of the boys shouted, but stopped when he saw Corison. "You ditched practice because of her ... I thought foot ball was more inportant then girls, hey captain... At least that's what you told us."

Corison looked up at David confused by what she was hearing. "You said football was more inportant... everything you just said..." She pulled her hand from his. "What did he mean?"
