Sighing softly, Calista's lashes continued to flutter rapidly until she was finally able to open her eyes slightly. Gazing up at Gareth with glazed blue eyes, a wan smile traced her lips as she saw his blurred image. He was starting to look a bit clearer but he still remained a bit fuzzy.

Calista gave Gareth a wan smile as she nodded. She still felt terribly weak but at least her sight was improving. "Y-you're a-a bit...clearer..." she murmured as if trying to prove her point.

Calista weakly returned his smile and nodded before she coughed lightly again although it was not as bad as before.
"Welcome back, my lady. You gave this man and myself quite a scare," the healer remarked as he stepped forward.
"James..." Calista murmured recoginizing the man at once. "How is your wife and daughter?" she asked remembering the family instantly.
"Well enough, dear lady," he remarked, touched that she remembered his family after all this time. "The infection that you had was in its final stages. In truth, my lady, it is a miracle you returned to us at all. For in all my years I have never seen it move as rapidly as it did with you," he added gently as he glanced at Calista and then at Gareth.

"My lady, you will still be weak for a while and will still probably suffer from some of the symptoms such as the cough until the infection is completely cured. I will leave herbs her in case they are needed. And until most of the symptoms are gone, I recommand you drink this broth at least twice a day. I can instruct this man how to prepare it," he remarked.
Calista nodded at James before glancing over at Gareth, seeing him look down. "I-I'm...sorry..." she started to say.
James then turned to give the mage a small smile. "Do not be so troubled...your lady is on the road to recovery..." he whispered encouragingly.
