Cindy stepped out onto the platform, pulling her cloak around her shoulders. She sighed as she crossed her arms, and heard Hagrid's booming voice saying, "Firs' years, over here!"

Nick got hurriedly out of the train, having been detained by his Bertie Botts' Every Flavour Beans, which had spilled dramtically over the floor. He remembered his manners belatedly and held the carriage door open for Cindy before getting in himself, as they seemed to be headed for the same one.

Harry looked for Ron and Hermione as he waited next to the carriage. He noticed that they weren't just being pulled up by an invisible force. There was now a scaly horse-like animal pulling the carriage. He frowned, wondering why he had never seen it before this year.
