(well it would be kinda cool to have the sisters share a special bond where they could kinda of sense when one of them is in trouble. we could all kinda feel that and then come to help her)

Khienro laughed dryly,

"I promise. I am guilty of a few things that arn't so couteous." He blushed ever so slightly at the memory of the incedent with the local stable master...

Aeryn sighed. "Well, I was planning to...um..you see...ugh! Okay, okay." He said, sighing again, "I am poor and I haven't eaten in 10 days and then...well, I saw food through your window and...um...I knew how to steal a few things...and...um...." He sighed again. "Yeah."

Naidele gave Khienro a confused look, wondering what he meant, but she didn't want to press him on it. She didn't want to make him uncomfortable. She felt sorry for Aeryn having never truly known what it was like to starve and be in need of things. She opened her mouth to say something to him, but all of a sudden a feeling of dread and a vague sense of trouble washed over her. Something wasn't right. Having spent so much time with her sisters on the Isle of the Goddess they had developed a keen perceptiveness to one anothers feelings and needs. Naidele supposed it had something to do with their power over the Elements.

Now that perceptiveness was telling her that one of her sisters was in trouble. She gazed toward the door nervously wondering what it could be. "Something's wrong," she murmured with worry.

Khienro clicked his toungue, judging the man. He took pity on him, not being all that rich himself. He looked down upon the act of stealing, but knew in his heart that he would have done the same thing if he were in that position.

"Stealing, now that is not very well. But hunger, I can help with. He went into his pantry and fetched some bread, berries, and some dried meat. "I am sorry, but I am out of sanwiches. Its all I can do before I go to the market, which has to wait until my master comes to give me today's pay." He then handed over the food, sharply thwacking the man's arm as he did so. "That was for the notion of stealing. It would have been alot worse if you had actually done it." He warned, and then turned around to shut the pantry door, which had fell open when a gust of wind came through the shop.

Naidele slowly turned back just in time to see Khienro offer Aeryn some food and whack his arm, but she was no longer truly concerned with Aeryn.

Her eyes were troubled as they met Khienro's. "Have you seen any strange people in the city lately?" she asked, "Visitors? Besides me and my sisters I mean." She glanced back out the door. Panic slowly building.

Khienro's brow knit in confusion,

"No, not of late. Though they could have come in on my shift. I don't pay attention to comings and goings here, there are too many of them."

Nakaida stopped abruptly in mid-stride, narrowly avoided being flattened by a pair of oxen pulling a cart on the busy street. She suddenly felt panicked, as if someone were cornering her - but looking around, there was no one.

A brief image of Alayna, and a group of dark-clothed men, flashed into her head and she gave an involuntary gasp and quickened her pace, glancing down alleyways as she went. A strong feeling of haste grasped her as she rounded a corner and Nakaida broke into a run, flying down the road in a panic.

Aiming herself at the source of the panicked feeling, she could feel herself getting closer to something and slowed, her dagger in her hand.

Images flashed in Naidele's mind, and suddenly she knew. Alayna. She had to get to her. Her hand wen to the small dagger she kept hidden at her belt. She pulled it free from its sheath and with a panicked expression turned to Khienro.

"My sister, she's..." She trailed off with a growl of frustration. She couldn't tell him what was going on. Not that he would believe her if she did anyways. "I have to help her," she finished hurriedly. She bolted out the door, not waiting to see if he would follow.

She had expected something like this to happen, all of them had, but certainly not this soon. She quickened her pace. Alayna's life was at stake.

Nakaida half ran into Naidele, hurdling around a corner with her dagger drawn. "Nai!" she gasped, "Alayna...she needs help, I can't find her!"

Aeryn sighed and nodded and didn't mind the punishment. "Sir...I...I can't accept your food! It's just not right..." He knew his hunger was bad and then his stomach growled louder than anything, but then he saw the girl run out the door. "Wait...did she ask if she saw anyone strange? I did...a cloaked man...Oh no..." He stood and took out a small crossbow and said, "I'll be right back." Then, he ran out to follow the girl. "Wait, wait!" He yelled, running quickly.

Khienro, who now had his arms full of the food that the man had dropped on his way out, stood confused in his shop. After catching up to what had happened, he rolled his eyes and ran out of the small shop, grabbing the nearest broadsword handy, along with a small throwing axe.
