Anaya chose to stay silent and observe everyone from a distance. Her thoughts began to dwell back onto Amniole again, there was something in the air. Something that didn't feel right, some familiar presence. She tried to focus on it in a hope to try to make sense of the deep sense of foreboding she now had.

Annalett stared at the baby in the sling at her chest when they started talking that it wouldn't be good for the child to stay with them. Whenever she held the child, or even looked at it, it seemed a missing piece was put back for her. With an almost sad sigh, she nodded in agreement, not trusting her voice, though knowing from expereince it would be strong. She always had a soft spot for childeren.
"The closest Inn is probably in a town a few miles away, though they might have been attacked by the soldiers too. I guess we can only hope it wasn't." she spoke up, then looked to the stranger, but only for a second, and her attention went back to the baby as he started to cry...

Gavin listened as one of the women mentioned soldiers. <i>Not just travellers, then.</i> he thought. He spoke outloud. "Could I join you for awhile? I think my hunting is done for the evening, and we're going the same direction."

Lanie quickly jumped in and said something. "yes gavin please join us." Lanie smiled.

The baby wailed, and Annalett shooshed it, and tried to settle it. Eventually the baby fell asleep, sucking one thumb, and holding Annalett's forefinger with his other little hand.
"A good grip this one has," she said with a smile, refuring to the baby's little fingers that were wrapped around her finger. When the baby settled, she looked up at Gavin.
"Gavin? Nice name. Though I wouldn't be one to trust a hunter who sudenly appears, seemingly, and especially at a time like this..."

Gavin smiled his thanks at the woman who had welcomed him into the group, then heard the other's questions. <i>You knew it was coming.</i> he reminded himself.
"There isn't much reason for you to trust me," he said to the group in general, "but there's also no reason not to. I see you have some children with you-another sword can go a long ways towards protecting them." he laid a hand on the hilt, then realeased it. "Of course, the choice is up to you."

Will glanced at Rory. This was a bad idea: to invite every random stranger to join them. Perhaps he was a spy, perhaps he was given the task to pursuit them.. Still Will said nothing yet he began to wonder more and more if he was at the right place. He felt his horse was restless and he patted his neck to calm him. He looked at the man, his face betraying no emotions and waited.

Lanie looked at Rory. "Rory he is right. we do need another sword." Lanie didn't pay attention to the fact that he could be a spy or worse.

Anaya glanced over at this new face and lightly shook her head. Something else was causing this oppressive air, though it appeared only she and a few of the horses were picking up on how stifling it was. She rubbed the bridge of her nose, she hoped to move from here soon. Get to this Inn they all seem to be discussing.

She needed more time and space to clear her thoughts and meditate on the darkness a little longer. Hopefully this Inn would give her and the other members of the party repsite, and for the sake of the young child, someone to take care of it. [/i]

" Yes , but the same can be said about killing the child,or the ones with it," Rory sighed as his mare began to side step and rollback around the tree's. He pulled her up and pulled her head into his thigh.
He uttered a few words of comfort to the horse and dropped her head.
" Somethings Wrong we must go, but I warn you hunter if I see you draw your sword I will be the one to strike first,"
With that he tapped the seal brown into a run.

Lanie smiled and was pleased with Rory's choice. she smiled at gavin. still completly unaware of the danger lerking. seeing Gavin had no horse she said. " sir you may ride with me. seeing you have no horse and that everyone has chosen to ride to the town fast." she smiled.

Will urged his horse, which he had called Pyrois to the Greek mythological horses of the sun-god, in a gallop and followed Rory.

Anaya looked behind her briefly before asking the stallion that carried her to move forward with haste and follow the others.
