Mikaella sharply turned around. The wild look in her eyes stayed there for a split second, then disappeared. "I'm sorry. I'm not sure. I just remember getting angry, someone upset me. Then I called on the water in the pipes. I don't know why." she shook her head, trying to forget what happened. She realized she still had the picture in her hand. She didn't know why. She looked at it for a moment, then put it back into her pocket.

A sound erupted through the air and he shuddered at the ringing sensation in his ears. Eyes looked around frantically to find the source of the annoying noise. Soon the sound became an earsplitting roar and a torrent of water came rushing out of the ceiling, pieces of pipe and plaster coming straight towards Nathaniel.

Eyes closed tightly expecting to be knocked out, but instead he felt nothing but the woosh of air, as his eyes opened he noticed that the water seemed to part around him, nothing touching him...

Cylie but her hand on the other girl's shoulder. "Things like that happen when I'm angry too. But with me, it's strange weather. Let's get back to school, though, I'm not sure we'll have any more today, what with the water damage." Her eyes twinkled merrily. "Don't feel bad about it. This is nothing compared to what I did to my last school."

(Cy is going to continue to make references to what she did to her last school, but I won't tell until later on. Let's just say someone made her angry beyond belief. A lot can be done when you control the weather)

"Okay." Mikaella said. She smiled faintly at Cylie's referense to what she did at her old school. She started walking back towards the school. "Do you," she suddenly asked Cylie, "want to hang out at a cafe or something after school?"

Having an experience such as his would shake anyone, especially since he did not know his own powers he was more confused than ever at almost being pummeled but having nothing happen to you, so he shoved his books into his locker and walked down the hallways, the water on the ground parting before his feet as he moved, though he did not realize this.

He was going home, he couldn't take all this weirdness and didn't want to deal with classes, not even his favorite class... English... so he walked out of the doors and headed towards town, needing to calm down.

Aaron looked at Mikaella in surprise when she bumped into him and became even more bewildered when he saw what was going on behind her. Water was everywhere, leaking from the ceiling and walls...had the pipes burst? What had caused this? Before he could ask her what was going on, he found her gone. He remembered the look on her face, one of anguish. Aaron could only stand at his locker staring into the wall, thinking hard.

Alexx watched Jack make the branch rot and was, honestly, awed and fasicnated. He pretended to shudder and said, "Goodness, I am terrifyed!" He grinned then, which he rarely did. It faded quickly, though, and he grew a little more serious. "In all honesty, though, literally, I'm not scared of you, nor do I fear what you can do. I am impressed. And awed. I would love to be able to make things rot in my hand. It'd be amazing." He paused and then asked, "Who, me? Interesting? That right, I don't. At all. Really? You'd seem to be like the guy who would speak to people..." Alexx paused to think for a moment. "Wait...no, no, I was mistaken. Your not the type. What I can do? Nothing special..." He shrugged. "What do you think I can do?"

Jack grinned broadly as he said, "I think you're telepathic. You can read minds. Read people's thoughts Wanna know how I know? 'Cause you wanted to find me after I thought of you. Funny little world, we live. You see people's thoughts. I see people's desires" He ignored the fact that Alexx pretended he was terrified. Usually people don't take him serious. Until he just destroyed them. He walked around, his eyes still on Alexx. From the school, he felt the numerous desires of people. Desire to run away from the water. Desire to leave the school. Desire to find out what happened.

Jack knew that he wanted to know the answer. Normally he would just use it to his advantage, but he had never manipulated a telepath before. And why bother? He was going to know it one way or another. "I destroy people simply because they deserve it." he replied sadistically. "All of their lives. They're nothing more but houses of cards, built out of lies and illusions they create so they feel better. Destroy that house, you see them for what they really are. Greedy, deceitful, selfish. They can lie to everyone else, but not me. There are things that come from destroying people. Power, wealth. But nothing compared to the thrill I feel when I witness the tumbling of the houses. Particularly the big ones. Because, in reality, Alexx." His voice turned deadly cold at this point. "The human race do not deserve to live. They've destroyed countless species of plants and animals, burned down thousands of acres of forests, dumped millions of tons of rubbish and waste into the oceans and the earth, and pumped toxic gas into the atmosphere. All you have to do is turn the telly on to the news and see why the human race should not live. And that's why I destroy people, Alexx."

"Yes, it would be," agreed Jack. "But you can do more, too. You can easily gain as much power as I can with your ability. Think about it. You can read every thought, every passing whim. The potential that you have with this, don't you want to unlock it? Unleash it?" Jack then looked at Alexx, his eyes glinting manically with a passionate fire. "You want the world to understand you but it won't. It never will. Five hundred years ago, we would have both been burned at the stake. Now, we'll probably be sent to an asylum. We're different from them. We don't need the world to understand us. To them, we're just freaks." Oblivious to the fact that his voice raised to a dangerously loud volume, he restrained himself and lowered his voice into a low seductive hiss, "You know what's wrong with the world. With your powers, you can stop it all from happening. Stop them from carrying out their horrid ways once they come into their minds."
