(Lol I understand. I had thought about messaging you but I thought you were likely busy with life. That is how most rps end, lol people get to busy with real life, wich I completely understand... Life keeps us all busy)
X chuckled and took a drink. "Sounds like you and I have more in common than we might like to admit. Here I was hoping you would be able to show me the ropes on how to loosen up."
He looked up at Yelena for a brief moment, almost as if sizing her up... But less agressive than you would an opponent.
"So... You-" he stopped, looked down at his drink with a solmn face, shook his head and took another drink. "Ah, never mind."
(As far as the relationship between the two x has a hard time opening up or persuing often times things like this are him thinking aboutbit but convincing himself he shiuld not get attached since that is how he has HAD to live his entire life)

((Its more like, I get distracted easily. And I mean easily.))
Yelena smiled. "I guess so." She relaxed somewhat. "Its funny, I've been traveling along for so long and so far. I know how to handle people. But its nice to have someone to talk to. Someone who isn't an employer, or a means to finish a job." She gave a dry laugh. "I've never worked with anyone more then hireing help to do a fraction of a job."
((Nice. As far a Yelena. As she said, she's been alone for a long time. And its her own doing, yes, but there is a reason. And of course that will come into play later.))

(Lol, no worries. If it won't bother you I can just PM you if you have been absent for a week. I just don't want to bug people or seem pushy. Never know what they are thinking on the other side of the screen) X Nodded. "I know what you mean." he took a deep breath and reclined in his seat. He looked up at her, almost as if the realization of her statement just hit him. "It is nice to have someone to talk to." He sat thinking for a moment. A hard look on his face. "Friends are a dangerous commodity in our line of work... but I think if we keep visiting like this I just might get comfortable with calling you such." (Gotcha. And if there is any particular development you want to be sure comes along feel free to PM me or mention it. I am flexible and can work things in. )

((You know, that would actually be helpful, so go on, its fine. If I'm not responding then PM me.)) "Friends." Yelena chuckled. "I don't even remember the last time I actually had a friend, if I ever did." She took a sip. "A proper friend I mean." In that instance her eyes had a far away look, as she thought of things that she had kept buried. ((Ok, and the same goes for you. ))

(Alrighty, will do. ) X saw the look in her eyes, he knew it well. He too had reasons not to let someone get that close... But for some reason his emotions overid logic this time. It is notblike it was the first time he had met a pretty girl or found someone whom he got along with well... This time just seemed to be different. He sat, still reclining. "I know what you mean... And that seems the safer option," he admited. "But sometimes... I wonder. If you had two people with the same lifestyle, same goals... Some expectations..." Again he looked down at the table and shook his head... Almost admiting to how foolish his words sounded. He shrigged. "Maybe things could work."

She turned to him. "That maybe, they won't have to be so lonely?" She asked. "There is that . . . but then again, wouldn't that make it all the more painful later?"

X sighed and finished off the last if his drink. "Perhaps..." He admitted. "Perhaps you are right. How mich pain to justify another pain?" He sighed.
Standing to his feet he walked over to the bar and poured himself another drink. "You want another?" He asked Yelena.

X brought the bottle and poured her another round. He took his seat and looked at her for a moment, he staired right into her eyes. He wasnt shy about looking people in the eye.
"So, what's your story then?" He paused only for a second. "Not that I am asking for personal information." He raised a hand in defense. "Your official story."

She took a sip. "No details." She looked back. "Left my parents when I was young. Learned alot of things over a number of years. Things changed one day." She took another sip. "Been alone since. Became a smuggler."

X nodded. "Of course." He agreed. He listened as she told her brief tale. He nodded aprovingly at the end. "Sounds like a tale I know all too well... Except I didn't leave friends or family... They were taken. I worked as a mercenary for many years and then found my true place in the world of bounty hunters. That is where I have stayed, predominately."

Yelena nodded. "I didn't chose to leave my parents. It was a choice may for me." She shrugged. "Haven't seen them since. Don't know if I would ever want to."

"Ah, sorry," X said. He knew now was probably not the time to pry more into that subject. His face seemed solemn. "Life makes a lot of choices on its own for us it seems."

"Tell me about it." Yelena took a large gulp. "Now, we need to lighten the mood."

X followed suit. "I've drank enough," He then said, setting his cup on the table. "What do you suggest to lighten the mood?" He set his feet up on the table and gazed steadily across the table at the young woman.
There was something about her... something attractive... and it was more than looks. It was as if there was an unseen power inside her.

Yelena looked at him, her face going red as she realised how hansome and charming he was. Maybe it was the drink, or they had much in common, or that she was spending more time with him. "I don't know . . . " She whinned and sighed.
