Symri, though riding bareback, had no hesiation in urging Rilan to gallop after Aditi. Rilan instantly sprang foreward, taking long powerful strides. He was a very competitive horse, and he didn't like having other horses in front of him.

Nyx wanted to win, but she knew that she had no chance at it. look at the horses she was up against.
she urged her horse to gallop...

Cyril knew he was going to lose. Despite the fact that Steliard was very swift for his kind, she was no match for the horses that Cyril was riding with. "Relax," Cyril whispered into her her. "We don't need to rush." Still, he could feel that his mount's pride was terribly injuried from the fact that horses were beating her. She quickened her stride, nearly dismounting Cyril. "My god, Steliard!" Cyril exclaimed after he straightened himself. "Calm down!" But after a while, Cyril got used to the pace and even said, "Why couldn't you do this all time?"

Aditi had slowed down a bit so the others could catch up. She made it out the gate. The river had to be six miles away...
