So I've been meaning to try my hand at Jack for quite a while now (or rather, re-try, as I used to play him all the time), but my schedule hasn't been overly friendly to that effort. I know y'all aren't sure if you're even going to have him yet, but if he should come up, might I lay claim to the role?

Ok, mates, if we're all ready. Places, everyone! Lights, cameras, and... in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.... let the pirate adventures begin!

(bear with me here... but I guess I'll be the one to start us off )

Will Turner slightly turned away from Elizabeth and watched as the last of Jack Sparrow's ship, the Black Pearl, sailed away onto new adventures. He tried to recollect his thoughts, which had been scattered ever since he had heard the words come out of Elizabeth's mouth.... "as is mine". Finally after so many years the girl he had only been able to admire from afar had picked him. Him. The poor blacksmith's apprentice. She could've had so much more, but she chose him even over a life of luxury and wealth Commodore Norrington could've given her. He could hear the distant voices of the Commodore and Governor Swann talking to the confused crowd that had gathered to watch Jack's hanging. Will's thoughts went over the past months. Ever since he had met Jack his life had changed. He couldn't quite put his finger on why it only took Jack to change so many things, but Jack had showed him more to the world than he could've ever imagined. Jack and his outspoken ways had even inspired Will to tell Elizabeth how he truly felt about her. Will smiled and looked at his beloved Elizabeth Swann who still held his hat in her hand. He wanted to say something to her but no words could describe the shear happiness he was feeling at that moment. However, the thought kept coming to his mind that they should be going back to see how things were going. The thought that this peaceful moment would have to end saddened Will but nevertheless he turned to Elizabeth to propose going back.

(ok, short (maybe even stupid sounding) but it gives us a start and now we can carry on!)

Norrington cleared his throat. In these past minutes he'd reached a conclusion, words crossed his lips which of which he never hoped they would. He unsheated his sword and addressed Will Turner: "This is a beautiful sword, I hope that the man who made his shows the same care and devotion to every aspect in his life." His eyes fell on Elizabeth but he quickly looked away. He had expected her to choose Will above him, a free life, another life though deep inside him there still was hope. He felt empty and worn out though his manners didn't show that. Graciously he turned his back on the couple and ordered his men: "You're dismissed, back to your posts."

anyway, I have nothing (of course) yet to add but I was wondering if anyone has a better title (now that this is no longer really a Willabeth story ) so if anyone has any good thoughts on a title feel free to post them (as long as you don't mind, Anie, since this is the title you thought of). :yes: also I was wondering if Freya and Anie would like to start with Pinny and Rags now.... after all I was thinking about it and you two could tell their story on how they escape the Port Royal jail or wherever Norrington and his men took them. and I was also wondering if anyone would mind if I started up with Beckett's story in England and all that.

((We do actually have a Jack, Will. He's just sailing away presently and shall wait for the opportune moment to come back into the story. Title-wise, I think we're good. It can still work. And PD, I'm going to be out of town til Sunday, but if you need Mercer to go with your Beckett, I can easily cover that role. I'm pretty versatile...and I just like Mercer. ))
