(( Could you do a bit more to intro this? I don't even have a clue where your character is or what's going on. Gotta give the others something to work off of if you want people to join. )) |

Maxelle Greenwood was quiet. The trees swayed in the faint wind that roused them, the golden leaves of autumn brushing against his equally golden, sun-tanned skin. He watched the world below him with eyes like a hawk, crouched on the balls of his feet like a predator on the tree branch that overlooked the winding dirt path. Barely any movement came from him, except for the occasional flick as his tongue passed over his dry lips. It would've been sheer mockery, though, to say the same for his crew mates below. If it'd hadn't been for their racket, you never would've seen them; their tunics were woven from shades of grey and brown and mossy green, perfect for camouflaging in the underbrush. They crouched amidst the foliage, chatting animatedly with each other. One of the younger members shoved one of his mates roughly, making the leaves crunch. "Eh!" Max scowled down at them, rubbing the thin white scar that ran down his temple, marring his otherwise handsome face. "Hush! Someone's coming... I can feel it." The others quickly quieted down, turning their attention to the path. Maxelle Greenwood was never wrong about these things. |

Marian sighed, she looked at the ring that she wore on a sting around her neck, it wasn't fancy, but it was worh everything. "Max." she said the nickname with sadness. |

Maxelle's grey-green eyes narrowed to slits and he grinned, notching an arrow to his bow. This was a rich being, surely, to be traveling in such a carriage. Skilled hands strung back the arrow and let it fly, landing purposefully in front of the horse, startling it. The beast halted, whinnying fearfully, and the bandits made their move, suddenly coming out of hiding. Max took it upon himself to subdue the driver, grabbing him around the ribs, a knife to the man's throat. Two of the other men flung open the doors of the coach forcefully. |

One of the thieves, a burly bull of a man named Jonah, who was obviously the 'muscle' out of the group, grabbed her firmly by the waist. His iron grip held her tight. "Eh, Max! Look't this little birdie I caught, haha!" Max looked up, his face obscured by the shadows cast over his face by his cloak's deep hood. His grin showed as a white flash as he slit the driver's throat. "Good catch, I'd say." |

Marian didn't hear the name of the leader. She screamed and tried to get loose. "You, you killed him, your going to kill me too like you did Maxelle!" |

Max froze, dropping the bloody body to the ground. "How do you know that name?" He demanded quietly. |

The man who was holding her captive gave the leader a bluntly puzzled look. "She's gone mad. What's she talking about, Max?" Maxelle strode forward, his hands moving up to push back the hood of his cloak. He gave her a hard stare, their eyes locking. |
