Jason broke into a full laugh at the memory. "I think on this occasion my memory serves better, that fish wasn't just over cooked, it was ash. And then" he broke down laughing for a few moments "and then to top it all there was a little sliver of raw fish fights down the center." He let go of her hand and took another mouthful of stew. "But this, now this is something completly diffrent." he was silent for a few moments as he savoured the taste once more. "And you won't have to survive on scraps any longer. I'l go hunting for you whenever I can, you'll have meat and fish every day." he smiled fondly at her.

Selene smiled at him. Maybe he did love her, he just didn't realise it yet. "THank you Jason." she told him. She smiled wider as she took his hand. I mean it, thank you so much."

As she took his hand he felt a warmth spread through his heart. She was beutiful. For a moment he forgot the pure memory he constantly compareed her to and saw the womanly beutey that sat before him and truley appritiated it.

Selene smiled at him. She saw him gaze har her like he had on their wedding day, maybe he didn't know, but she did and thats all that mattered. They had both changed as people, but as a married couple, she like to think somewhere deep inside they stayed the same.
