Yelena nodded. To be honest, she had tried 'persuading' them before, but it never worked. "They like entertainment especially if its violent. I remember meeting with a Hut once, he ran a fighting ring. It wasn't to death, but that didn't stop the blood shed."

"A fighting ring, huh?" X smiled. "I think we could handle giving some of that entertainment." He glanced over to Yelena's side arm and added. "Easy as hitting flying debries in a sand storm."

Yelena smiled back. "yeah, but I don't do well in hand to hand. So this would be your fight, If I know where this is going."

The smile on X's face only grew wider. "I was hoping you would say that. I feel like I am out of shape." He rolled his shoulders and clasped one fist on the palm of his other hand. "Time to knock off a little rust."

"Well, better knock fast," Jaden replied. "We will be there in three houres."

Yelena smirked. "That should be plenty of time." She offered.

X nodded and patted Jaden on the shoulder. Patted or punched with the palm of his hand as Jaden would have insisted.

"I'll head to the training room. An hour ought to do me good."

He walked towards the door, then stopped. He looked to Yelena. "Want to join me? I could use a sparing partner who can keep me on my toes."

Yelena shrugged. "I could try, like I said. I suck at hand to hand." She told him, but followed him anyway.

"No worries," he rplied. "I just need someone to throw plows at me so I can defend."

He headed to the training room and grabbed a staff.

She grabbed a staff as well, one that was really long. "Ok, ready?"

X nodded and took his stance. "Ready. Don't hold back."

Yelena got into a stance. "Ok." She lied, and moved to strike.

X blocked high and low, left and right. He watched Yelena's feet, her eyes, her muscles. Watching for tells. What he saw, however, was a body in slow motion. Not so much slow motion, perhaps just slowe-er motion. It seemed like she was holding back. He wondered but said nothing.

Yelena moved with ease. she felt the strain of holding back, but she was afraid of what happened if she didn't.

X took careful thought to his moves, his footwork and hand morions flowing smoothly. He was focused, almost like the world around him dissapeared and all he saw was the staff striking at him.

Finally he was brought out of his daze by Jaden over the ships holo-com.

"An hour from Tantooine," he announced. "Hope you got that rust all cleaned up."

X stopped and stepped back from the exersize. "Cleaned, oiled, and ready to go," he said, wiping the sweat from his brow.

Yelena stopped too. Although she wasn't as sweaty as X. Somewhere in the 'fight' she had slipped into a meditative minds set. Somethng she hadn't done in years.

X looked at Yelena, somewhat wondering. He knew she was holding back and could see she had not exerted herself as much. But "Why?" Was a question that would have to wait. They had a show to plan.

"Thanks for the work out," he said, putting his staff away. "I better get my fighting gear oiled up and on."
