"So," X called out over the rushing wind and blowing debris smashing against the outside of the building. "You do this often?" he asked, mostly joking.

He fired of another round or two and glanced over at her. She looked as though she was enjoying herself. He was too... for the first time in... well, he didn't remember the last time he did something just for fun.

She looked at him, still smiling. "No, I've only done this once before. At least with the sandstorm. I always like to test my guns out, so shoting at random debris."

"Always," X agreed. "Guns were made to be tested!" He had a glint in his eye that was hidden by his goggles, but he felt almost like it might shine through. He caught himself, however... he didn't want to get too caught up in things and forget their main purpose.

He was all about the job.

But for now, he thought... it couldn't hurt to let loose a little.

He continued firing as things flew randomly past the openings. If nothing else it made him feel more secure with Yelena around. She was an excellent shot and he was sure she would perform just as well if they got into any trouble.

"Looks like you practice quite a bit," X observed. "Your quite the shot."

Yelena shot a few more times. "Thanks. I don't like using anything bigger then a pistol, so I've made sure I can be as good as I can." she smirked as she spotted a small target a bit further and shot it. "Its better when your sneaking around, or running away. Guns, if they aren't the right ones, can hold you down."

X nodded. "This is true," he admitted. "Though... there is something I find rather satisfying about sound of impact and the feel of a forceful recoil." He shook his head with a chuckle. "But in combat, having the right weapon is, no doubt, a life saver."

X laughed, this time more than a chuckle. He reminded himself internally that he was getting too close emotionally but it didn't seem to make any difference.

"I had a spray stick once," he started. He looked and sounded as though he were reminiscing about an old friend. It was similar to an smg but shot acid with the bullets. Now that was a good gun."

He stood for a moment caught himself staring at Yelena again... he didn't know if she had noticed or not.

Yelena hadn't noticed. She had turned back to look outside when she felt her face heat up. His laugh made her heart thump. She had met plently of men, charming and handsome amuong the others. But non of them struck her like X. But she swallowed when she realised where her thoughts were going. She couldn't, if he knew what the Gamer did . . .

"Well," x said. "We will have to do something like this again sometime."

X looked out the window. The sand storm was not over but it looked like it may be dying down.

As they headed down the hallway X noticed the building beginning to shake. It sounded like there was an earthquacke going onnoutside. He didn't know what it was but he knew it wasnt good.

"We better get back to the ship!" X stated and began running.
