Ayla tried to take Jax's advice. He had to be right. That must be the answer. It was hard, though. She tried to meditate but she was to uncomfortable in this cell. "I don't know if I can do this..." she said. "I don't know how long I can keep doing this..." |

Jax looked over at Ayla, concerned for her words. He knew they had to stay calm but he understood her statement. It would be hard and they would likely endure much. "We can do this," he assured her. "The lightside is always stronger than the dark." He knew this to be true but a small voice in the back of his head reminded him that he had never really put it to the test. |

Ayla breathed deeply and tried to relax. "I'm sorry... I know I should listen. You are right, I'm just worried." She looked around the room, focusing again. There must be a way out. |

Jax thought about their options. They could try and escape, wait for the Jedi to come rescue them, or possibly try and fake turning to the dark side... but that would be hard. "The other Jedi will be looking for us. We probably are not on Naboo any more..." Jax spoke and half way thought to himself. "Which means they may never find us. We need to get out of here on our own, then we can make our way back to them." Jax noticed a small mouse droid drive by the hall and he could hear in the distance a gonk droid. There seemed to be many droids now that he focused his senses on it... but few to no other life forms. "Maybe we can manipulate the droids somehow?" |

Ayla nodded and focused her mind on the droids also. "I'll try." She didn't know much about droids. |

Jax focused on the same droid as Ayla, trying to pool their abilities to manipulate the droid. A droid had no mind to effect so they had to manipulate the parts inside of the droid. Slowly they began to feel it out and the mechanical "individual" started to whine and complain about it's parts acting all on their own. Before long the droid was crawling slowly into the room but before they could get any further they heard a door open down the hallway and footsteps. Jax quickly released the droid, not wanting the sith to catch on to their tactics. If nothing else it was a good practice run. They would know better what they were doing next time. |

Ayla also released the droid. She was surprised at how far they had managed to drag the droid on their first attempt. It gave her a little hope that perhaps they would stand a chance after all. When the sith came back in Ayla was sitting in the corner of her cell as if she had been there all day. |

The sith entered the room once more, intent on prying knowledge from the younglings. Another attempt to turn them through torture and get them to give up Jedi secrets. Though it was harsh, the two stood firm and did not crack. In a rage the Sith left once more with a promise of future achivements he would make in their "turning" "We have got to get out of here," Jax said after the sith was long gone, hunched over in his cell in pain and mind still muddled. "If we don't turn he is going to kill us." (Figure we could skip to their escape and get some action going) |

(Ok.) Ayla groaned and nodded. "Yeah." she was not sure how much pain she could take. "We use the droids then?" |

"Yup," Jax confirmed. He waited for Ayla to start concentrating on the droids with him as they had done becore. Only this time they found a protocol droid. Before they knew it the protocol droid walked in and with their "urging through the force" it opened their cells, releasing them. "Perfect, now we need to get out of here. Keep an eye out for weapons on the way." |

Ayla nodded and rushed out of her cell. She was so happy to be out of there. She looked around the room for any weapons but there was nothing. "We better not stay here too long." |

Jax nodded. "Yeah, we better get on our way." He slipped out the door and glanced down the long hallways. They looked clear so he hurried down the opposite direction the sith always seemed to come from. On the way he kept an eye out for ventilation shafts. He passed up a few larger ones, then stopped at a small one. "Here. We should get in there." He pointed to the vent. "The sith will find out we are gone soon. He will be too big to follow us through here if he figures out where we have gone." Jax began taking the covering off. |

Jax calmed his nerves and senses after they had crawled a ways into the ventilation system and replaced the cover behind them using the force. "We need to use the force... it will guide us." |

Jax nodded in agreement. "I think you are right." They headed off in that direction and through the maze of ventilation shafts. Before they knew it they were looking through a screen to the outside. "We should be sure the outside is clear before we exit. He might have some sort of security system." Again they concentrated, and things seemed clear. Jax slowly took the grate off of the cover and jumped out to the ground. With no weapons they would have to avoid any confrontation at all cost. |
