The well-dressed 'man in black' is a nameless ships officer and is a member of the Ship Captains Guild based in Pelargir. Lord Castamir, the distant relative who will make the claim on the crown after Valacar passes, is a noble member of the Guild, and they, led by him, are the driving source of opposition to the half-blood Prince Eldacar. So the lesser members are the ones stirring up rebellion against the Rhovanions in the various cities and provinces where the sea ports are. So there is likely some of this going on in Mnas Tirith as well. I'm working on a post of background info to cover the Guild and their activities, and the discussion between the Prince and the King.

I gotcha. When Moryar typed that the guards recognized him as Guild I was thinking a name, not noting that it was his association instead.

Cool cool. Look forward to the post!

As do I!

Short post so Jax's characters can see a bit more of the animosity towards the Rhovanions :)

I hacked out a post through my workday whilst browsing the Encyclopedia of Arda, and cleaned it up after I got home. Added a bit to the inn scene too. I expect the next day will have the royal procession come through the east city. I needed to withdraw my Rhovanions as they will need to be in the Prince's escort the next day. I do need to bring Berian into the tale as he hasn't really clicked as yet. My fault really. I tend to bring in NCEs then get attached to them and they become mains. I need to stop that.

Hopefully it all isn't too confusing. Happy Writing!

I'm heading off to read the posts!

I'll get a reply up but it will be short, I had a rough day at work, errends to run afterwards and 3 months of procrastination on balancing the check book waiting when I got home. I didn't even turn my computer on so this will all be from my phone... so sorry if I miss correcting some typoes on my tiny keyboard.

I've been fortunate to be having some "easy" days at work the last couple weeks. But after today's meeting the the yearly Performance Review cycle hits, Ill be busy for the next couple week there. Likely I won't be able to write much of my posts at work so they will be limited to my home computer time. Anyway, I set up a chance for Nadia and Almara to have a bit of a meet. I trust Rie-Zunic is going to engage in conversation with the guards? We can play it out as far as we want. I did start writing a post for the next day where the Prince will likely announce the tournament games as he tours the city. ANy thoughts ideas, etc. are most welcome! :)

Sounds good, as I mentioned the fires arpund I am likely to be much less active for a while as wellz I also see it has been a while since Mortar posted and as to not leave her too far behind I will wait tonpost until she gets her next post up.

As for the tournament, I guess the ideas that come to my mind is a point based tournament as opposed to elimination rounds. Each fight the winner and looser would have chances to gain points. Ut the winner obviously taking most of the points or all if it is a highly one sided fight.

Perhaps ideas for rewards for the winners? Possibly something realy big that could/would be worked into the over all plot for the first place winner? *shrugs*. That's all I cannthink of and just random ideas, so... there is my two cent

You keep yourself and your family safe and we'll see you on the other side. Hopefully it passes without incident. Used to get code reds in July when I lived in the mountains in the states. One came close.

As far as the tourney goes, I like your ideas on it. I was going to have it announced when the Prince makes his city rounds in the morning after. I don't want to hurry into the next day though. Hoping Moy is able to get on sometime. Anyway, should it go too long without anything happening I''l go ahead with the next day. I do have a 'filler' to use for this day i could post. Anyway, I'm rambling.

Sounds good, I'll try and get a few shorter posts in here and there when able but as you mentioned Moryar I would hate to leave her behind so. I'll be patient and sit tight. :D

Nice new banner there Jax! Hope you still have the Yavanna one. :)

Things will be rather slow for me over the next few weeks. The workload has gone from nothing to everything in a week, so will be quite busy.
Moy sent a message saying she will try and get something, but I suspect a busy schedule is in play with Moy as well. We'll move along alright. No hurries. :)

Thanks Hanasian! :D Elenthari fixed it up for me. Oh yes, I certainly still have the Yavanna one! I have two actually. :P I always save my old banners and switch them out/ re-use them, from time to time. I just like to have "options" lol '

Hey, great to see you Moryar! Loved the post, and no worries on the time. I was off for a few days as well and a slower pace might suit me better right now anyways as things have been a bit crazy lately.

I need to spend a bit of time reading up on your site. I had a brief look-see a while ago meaning to get back to it sometime.
Mel says it's pretty good, so I'll make the effort to explore a bit on there :)

With an RP of this scale, I say 'no hurries no worries' as it has a wide scope. I have a post brewed up for later on, but don't want to move the timeline along too much in case anyone has something they want to add to this later day. It's good writing with you fine writers!.

Edit to say that I was writing up some for this RP, and I have to say that I just am not connecting with my Berian character. He was a half-baked idea poached from another RP when I started this, but I just can't seem to find a groove for him in my writing. I may bring in another character and cut Berian free. I will officially declare him an NCE in this RP, so if you see some use for him, feel free to write it.

Thanks! Twins are my favorite to play...

A slow and easy going RP sounds fantastic!

Well, thanks. :) Do give any feedback you can think of if and when you fond the time to check it out! Feedback is always welcomed, it's a hobby but I still want to iron out any wrinkle anyone finds.

That sounds good to me. I have a plenty of RPs going at the moment. Lol So a slow pace will suite me fine.
