Whoa, Will. I just have a solid claim to Lucius and Remus ;) The other two are characters that while I can do them, I don't necessarily want them. They're still up for grabs :) And FS is cool. I'll answer to just about anything lol GoldStrike calls me foot :)

I think it's probably a good idea for everyone to hit the Lexicon. Not a requirement or anything, but it's always a good idea to read the profile and history there of the canon character you're going to play. The Lexicon has lots of extras and dirt on characters that JKR has released but aren't included in the books, so it's a ton of extra material for RP use :)

I've read all the books, and have a good memory for them. Plus I have seen the movies. (Do not get me going on how the 3rd movie screwed up. I could rant all day.) Plus I know Muggle.net is good for profiles. But Lexicon, is that a site. And what about a Harry Potter Wikia?

Sorry, but out of rule I just don't do planned romance.. It just depends on the chemistry between characters as the RPG develops.. So, we should just wait and see.

BTW, my OC, I wasn't sure if I was going to have him related to any one, But I think i will have him be Remus's sister, who is a year younger, but in the same school year as the others (Winter baby.) I looked at Lexicon, and it said for him siblings are unknown, so i don't see why he can't have a sister.

I don't know about that, Misa. I don't really want to RP Remus with a little sister since it isn't canon to his character. I don't want my posts' quality to be compromised because I'm having to worry about an extra layer to his characterization from adding a little sister into the fray.

Can't you develop an OC that is not related to a Canon? I usually feel that I've way more liberty in developing a character (and his personality and history) when not being related to anyone in the plot. As I see it, you change some essential parts of the original story by adding a canon-related character. Perhaps Peter's character would have been way different having a sister.. He might have been less inclined to be turned by the death eaters which again might have consequences for the plot. This is only one reason why I don't see how this might work..

I'm very excited about this! I shall try and see if I can contact some people who might be interested in joining, though I won't be that much on this weekend. But I'll see what I can do.

I'm not going to be able to be on much, either, Will, so don't sweat it. Besides, I personally would like a little more plot hammered out before starting. Not a fleshy plot, mind, but some more bare bones with which to work. But I'm all for contacting more people! The more the merrier, as they say.

@Misa: If you must have an OC related to another character, I'll accept for him or her to be related to my OC, Dylan. You can read his bio in my barracks. There's a link in my signature. When Will decides it's alright for OCs to join the RP and there are enough canons, I would be willing to work that out.

Ok, I looked over Dylans bio. I think I will give him a cousin when OC's are allowed. But until then, I don't know who I would be good playing besides Bella. I am good at evil and crazy, I don't feel confident enough to be a major Canon incase I make them OOC.

Well I guess I can take either Bellatrix or Snape or whoever is needed. I can read and if somethings amiss I can take criticism about it. I can do a few OC's to take up space.
Oh and I have a question, can we have a kind of rule that peoples characters can't really interact (like one persons OC's can't have a relationship) so that it encourages more interaction with other people?

Do you mean there should be a rule that your own characters cannot have a relationship with eachother? I think that might be okay, because else indeed the interaction with other character might suffer under it. But like I said before, I really want to keep the romance to a minimum. Or do you mean relationships in general? Like they can't be siblings?
