I've been ogling this thread for some time now, debating whether I'd ask to join or not, deciding to wait and see what would happen, noticing nothing actually happened for about a month, and now here we are.

Same here! It has been ages since I last joined a new RP and even though I only like the first Potc movie, I do love RPs set in the Potc world.

I prefer writing from third person POV, especially when roleplaying. It can get very confusing very quickly if everyone writes about "I did..." or "so I went...". Having everything in third person POV makes it more readable I think

Oh and since I don't have a banner yet (nor the skills/program to make one myself): Killian looks something like a young Richard Armitage with slightly longer hair.

Lhun & Marida: Do you want to start with Jack, Gibbs and Anamaria already as one crew? Perhaps they could be in a pub in Port Royal so that in the end they can meet the others, Elizabeth and Norrington included. If not, I'll think of another way to introduce Anamaria.

I haven't personally decided yet what Norrington is up to, if he's all guardy and proper or whatever or if he's gone bonkers. I have to decide that before I can introduce him at least.

I don't envision us to have some sort of specific order for when we post, I think as long as we don't just do a random time skip it's fine regardless.

Great start guys! We're currently waiting for one person to join in, and I've PMd her to see if she's still game for it. I think for the time being though, it's ok that we slowly move forward without her, let's just make sure we don't dig too deep before I hear back (or if I don't hear back in a couple of days we're good to keep going regardless).

Hey, I was looking over this thread, and if you don't mind, I would like to join in also. I would like to bring in one character from the future, and does he need to be from England, because I'm from America, and the only country I've traveled to is Honduras. So that really wouldn't help me. I was also thinking that I would play Will Turner, although I'll have to reacquaint myself with his charrctrr to play him, but that won't be too hard. I hope we all get to do this, because I haven't had the chance to rp in a while.
