About the horse...er...no...it isn't his ...(at least I think so) because he's a bit too tall for a pony, ain't he? and after all I know he only owns 3 Horses, Uraeus (Brego), Kenny (Hasufel) and T.J. (Hidalgo).

Yeah, i heard that he was like the last actor to be cast to play a character. they'd already started filming when the cast him to play Aragorn. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

Yep. And he had to learn all that swordfighting stuff within....5 days? And he, of course, had to look like an expert. And...HE DID! P.J. said (was it P.J.?) that Viggo has become the best swordsman Bob Anderson , the sword master (???) has evertought (and met).
@izzatee: Yes, I was shocked, too, when I heard of that. And then I saw a pic of that Townsend guy and though "OMG! Thanx to the Valar they chose Viggo!"

Yes, it definately IS! He played someone called Frank T. Hopkins in "Hidalgo". And he was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! He jumped on his horse in full galopp, he fell off his horse (in the movie) on very hard-looking ground, he ate locusts (okay, they were fake, but he asked the director for some real ones) and he rode bareback at high speed. i wish I could ride as good as him.... just awesome. He's a real horseman. That's what I love most about him.
