Yeah, like it says in the title, I would like to say that Hugo Weaving(elrond) was in V for Vendetta! And he played the character V! I never imagined an actor like Hugo would play a character like V!

what do you all think?

Really, I didn't like Hugo all that much in LOTR, but I loved him in the Matrix. And I really didn't have any problem with imagining Hugo playing that part, and it was pulled off much better by the fact that you never saw his face. I really didn love that movie.

To me I could never imagine Hugo playing such an active part, but I guess you could never know. I like the ryme though!

Remember, remember, the fifth of november, the gunpowder treason and plot I know of no reason for gunpowder treason to ever be forgot

And I love what he says to Evey when he first meets her, it's brilliant.

VoilĂ ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

Yeah! That was cool too, but I never got what V said their mostly. I have no idea what some of those words mean...

there are some really cool connections with V and other things!

Evey for one thing! E is the 5th letter of the alphabet. And Y is the 25, or 5x5! And when V introduces himself at the end when he says "You may call me V" that is 5 syllables!

V listens to Beethoven's fifth symphony (the first four notes of which can be represented as the letter V in Morse code)

and you should know that V was prisioned in room #5(v) at the facility thing. V is also a guinea pig for the hormone substance Batch 5, which transforms him into what you see in V for Vendetta.

V's hideout is accessed from the closed Victoria Park tube station, the damaged sign of which resembles a sideways V when Finch locates it. Also, the very title of the story "V for Vendetta," is made up of 5 syllables.
