Post subject:  Question about Troy!
This is a question for all you people who have seen the movie Troy. My question is this: Why is it rated R? I haven't seen it, and my friend and I were planning on watching it. And we were wondering what the "R" content is. Any help is appreciated! :)

Troy tells the story of a great war, so it might be because of the violence. It's been a while since I watched it, but I don't remember it being so bad.. but everything is relative....

it also has sexual content.

i happen to have to movie so the describtion says"

"R" for graphic violence and some sexuality/nudity

( but in all its still a good movie and no one is completely shown)

Yeah, it's a good movie mainly because of a bronze-covered Brad Pitt... don't watch it for the historical accuracy... as there is none! ;-)

But Orlando is sorta sissy in the movie... he doesn't have the hero-qualities... He steals a bride and is not man enough to stand up and fight for her.... tsk tsk!! :-)

I don't think he was a coward in the story. I think it was an unfair fight as the person he was fighting poisoned the tip of the weapon.

Paris has one clear moment in the movie. When they discover the Trojan Horse on the beach he says that it would be better to burn it. But his father wouldn't listen ... We all know what happend then ;)

I like that moment because he says it so easy and calm. :) on that moment he is a little bit a clever person, but in the rest of the movie he's artless (and good looking :p)
