I thought this was a brilliant film, but I had to watch it twice to get the general meaning.
I found it interesting that Lacuna Inc, the company who erased the memories had the name Lacuna, for Lacuna in Latin Lacunae, means hole or cavity, just like they were making a hole or cavity in the patients mind.


Yes, ew have our dear little Elijah Wood in this film, panty stealing, identity stealing little man. Bless him!

I love that movie! I've seen it twice :) Although it has contributed to my partial dislike of Elijah Wood by now :annoyed2: It's actually the only film I've seen Jim Carrey in where I liked him...heheh. Veddy good movie, even though I felt a little TOO desensitized to profanity by the time it was over.

Would you recommend it to a Elijah fan?
I wanted to see this movie so badly since a long time...especially because of Kate Winslet. We don't have it in the library so I have to buy it ;)

If you're an Elijah fan, I'm a bit dubious of recommending it to you, plainly because he doesn't play a very good guy in it :blink:

He's a bit of a weirdo, but to understand what I mean, you'd have to see the film.

I say get it, but don't judge Elijah on the character he plays ;)

I love this movie! Like Alessae, I had to see it twice to actually understand it. The first time I was just lost. :blink: Also I am very impressed that Jim Carrey can play a role like this. I never particularly liked him, but this movie changed my opinion on him a lot. And Elijah's character... I think weird is the right word. :P

Weird? Well...I'm often described as weird too so maybe I can't go after that :P

What is weird about Elijah's role? i mean...is he evil, mean, what does he do? What is his...part in the plot?

Alessae, I don't think I would.....I've seen such a cute interview with Lij, and I doubt he is evil or arrogant in real life. In fact I hope he's not ;)
If he is...he must be a very good actor in real life too.

Hehehe, what is weird about his role. Well, bing a bit more than brief:

The company he works for erases peoples memories. The main female character has her memories erased of the main male character, so he decides to have it done too. Now Elijah was working on the main female characers memory, at night when they do it, and he "fell in love with her", stole her panties, and stole all the memories the other 2 have had together, and sort of role-played them out.


I thats a bit much I'll er... erase it ;)
