I'm about the biggest Master & Commander geek you'll find around A-U.  I'm attempting to read all 20 books, have the movie, and absolutely LOVE Barrett Bonden/Billy Boyd. The best coxswain ever, I'll wager. Or is it just because it's..Billy? Ah well. I've wrote a fanfic for M&C too, if anyone should ever like to read a bit of it! -'Bax the Strange |

I tried watching it, but i really couldn't get into it. I probably would've if i'd known Billy had been in it! I had no idea. When i was watching it, i was finding it boring. (Note to self: Borrow Master and Commander from dad and watch it all the way through next chance i get.) |

I didn't know he was in it, either...then I watched it with my parents and I suddenly thought: "DARN!!! THAT'S PIPPIN!" And I had to laugh, because he looked so much like a hobbit on a boat (just imagine!). OMG! Ig2 see the movie again... |

I thought it was a pretty good movie, even though, I'd expected it to be better. *hits self on the head for having expectations* But I think Billy's part should've been bigger.  Didn't really get to see much of him.

I don't believe he was...he's not creditted under the cast, nor is it in his film history on IMDb.com...perhaps it was just someone who looked like him? |

Yup, I've seen it and I really liked. Sorry to say it was not because of Billy. His role was very small and he didn't really leave any impression on me. I don't think that was the idea really. |

I don't like R. Crowe pretty much as an actor (sorry).... And yes, Billy's part SHOULD have been bigger! Grrr |

My social studies class watched it last year, but it was at the end of the year, and we never got to finish it cuz we had finals..... *grrr* cuz it was a good movie!!!!! But Billy Boyd is awesome in it!!!!! Me and a few of my friends (also Ringers) got soooooooo excited whenever we saw Billy onscreen and we'd squeal and the teacher would yell at us but we'd just squeal the next time we saw him.... twas soooooooooooooo funny!!!!! I was looking through a book about good movies to watch, and I saw a pic of that movie, and it had Billy in it. I was so excited. I want to see it now! |
