This movie made me open my eyes to Orlando Bloom...it has been said before, especially on the swoon board, but he is amazing in the movie!
I like the way he uses his voice, soft, but with every emotion close-up and strong...
He has evolved quite a lot since LotR..and I prefere his own hair/eye color, instead of the blond & contact blue eyes of Legolas...
the extra weight and muscle in KoH...look really good, too!
Okay,.....I´m finished....for now  :P

I totally agree!!!!!!!!!!! KOH is a truly amazing movie!!!!!!!!! Not only is Orli absolutely positively PERFECT as Balian, but the rest of the cast (especially Liam Neeson, Eva Green, David Thewlis, Jeremy Irons, etc) is phenomenal too!!!!!! The story is powerful and emotional (especially when King Baldwin dies..... I cried at that part - King Baldwin was awesome!!!!!!!!!!! *tear*) and Ridley Scott directed it wonderfully, and the costume designer Janty Yates designed the perfect medieval-style costumes, the music was amazing.... anyway, I absolutely cannot wait to see the Director's Cut!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved that movie!!! I couldn't see it in the theater cause of the stupid rating :disgust: but when my dad watched he said i could. :-D. But in the mean time i had to walk around not getting lots of jokes that one of my friends kept making about the movie :explode: . That was a good movie though...

Liam Neeson did a good job
*suddenly is reminded about bat man*
Hmm.... I wonder if Batman Begins would still be good if Orlando Bloom played Christain Bale's role

I don't think Kingdom of Heaven met my expectations, however, I'm not saying I didn't love it half to death!

I like LOTR a million times more than any other film :P No offence to Orli, but personally I didn't think he was the best guy for the job. Awesome film, the King in the mask rocks.

Well, I disagree. Love Orli as I do, I'll be the first to admit Orli can't act his way out of a paper bag. But I thought that Kingdom of Heaven was one of the better movies he actually acted in. LOTR, he didn't really have to act, all he did was look pretty, he only had like, 8 lines in FOTR.

Just let you know, unless you like gore and blood, don't buy the Director's Cut. It's okay if you rent it or borrow it, just don't buy it. They added a bit more gore and some plot elements but that's about it. But I did feel so sorry for the little boy, Baldwin V.
