Hey folks,
I’m curious how others deal with developer shortages or skill gaps during busy project cycles. Hiring full-time employees often takes months, and outsourcing entire projects can sometimes lead to communication issues or loss of control.

I recently started looking into IT staff augmentation — basically adding skilled external engineers to our in-house team for specific needs (frontend, QA, DevOps, etc.). It seems like a middle ground between outsourcing and traditional hiring, offering flexibility and faster ramp-up times.

Has anyone here tried this approach? How did it impact your workflow, delivery speed, and overall collaboration?

Yeah, talent shortages in IT are real — especially when deadlines are tight and projects just can’t wait for months-long hiring rounds. I used to think outsourcing was the only quick fix, but it often led to misalignment and extra management headaches. That’s when I came across NEKLO, and their staff augmentation model really changed things for us. Instead of losing control, we got skilled developers who adapted to our internal setup almost instantly. It felt more like adding teammates than contractors. Our delivery pace picked up, and honestly, the collaboration was way smoother than I expected.
