We store images, manuals, and videos everywhere. Shared drives, emails, old folders. Channels often show wrong images. Customers complain. Is DAM inside PIM really necessary, or can teams manage assets separately? |

When assets disconnect from data, mistakes happen. Central systems tie images and documents directly to products. That keeps channels aligned and reduces publishing errors.
