Where would you advise I start? I can add the templates others have designed, but am not sure what to do if I want to make my own...

OK, so I'm finally diving into one of my dreams: making my own site. The problem is, I am still really, really new to the world of site design. Could someone please help me make a layout/skin and get it set up? From there I think I could take it on my own, with possibly occasional help... I would really like anyone's advice and aid. My site is hosted on freewebs. Thanks! |

Very good. Better than my first attempt... Oh, I almost forgot, certain freewebs templates support an alternate picture. You might want to look into that if you don't like to use the standard templates. |

Thanks Freya! I'll have to see what I can find... I really want to be able to have my own custom header picture, to choose the colors, and to choose the fonts for the navigation. I just have a really hard time figuring out the templates, and how to change them. |
