In the AU tutorials section there are some codes that you can add colours to. The codes have ####### where you should put the colour of your choice. But how are these colours written? Can someone help me please? I hope I have explained it properly. Thanks! ![]() |

on the web coulors are given codes and that's what you put in. Here's a page with some of the codes http://www.htmlgoodies.com/tutorials/co ... hp/3478921 If you have photoshop or paintshop pro then that'll tell you the code for any colour. I think paint might also do that. |

Paint won't tell you colour codes (or if it does, I've yet to figure out how.) I find that http://html-color-codes.com/ and http://www.pitt.edu/~nisg/cis/web/cgi/rgb.html aren't bad when looking for colours... |

Paint doesn't show the web colours it only shows the green, blue and red thing. If you have a copy of Dreamweaver i also shows the web colours. |

You're right I thought my version of pain t did give the codes but it seems not. Anyway there are lots of websites that people have pointed out which do give you the colours. There's a cool colour slider thing here: http://www.lissaexplains.com/color2.shtml |

you could go to http://www.ifskinzone.net and go to the website, find the simple skin gen. and just click on the color you want and click the - ithink but NOT sure- convert button and it will come up in the hexa decimal color code which would be like black: #000000, white:#ffffff, dark blue (not sure the color is right):8b0000, but i think you get the picture. there will always be six space after # that |

some more obscure colors won't work on all computers. I use this safe color chart http://text.mbif.net/colorchart.html and a larger one http://text.mbif.net/bigcolorchart.html |

I found a few too, these ones are also helpful on deciding colour scemes and what colours are complementary and such http://www.siteprocentral.com/cgi-bin/feed/feed.cgi http://wellstyled.com/tools/colorscheme/index-en.html http://wellstyled.com/tools/colorscheme2/index-en.html |

Yeah, I just go on photoshop and pick a color I like after clicking on the color palette, and then it gives you the code automatically. ![]() |
