you didn't really need to shove the title in our faces like that. (sorry if I sound cranky, but I'm not in the best of moods. THROW TOMATOES IF YOU SO WISH!) (that was quoted almost directly from Kitoky)
also, it's been awnsered already. Check out the FAQ sticky.

You could try freewebs.com, geocities.com, tripod.com, or angelfire.com.
Personally, though, Angelfire and Tripod gives me the largest of headaches. ><

If you're just doing an html site, go with geocities. But if you're going to use php you'll need something like byethost.com. Sadly, that has some nasty ads.

Like Elem, I detest both Anglefire and Tripod. Geocities gets on my nerves, too. Its the adds, and the bit at the side. Personally, Freewebs is the best host, if you're only using html. But if you want PHP, you could try dhost.info (it's add free), or search around for someone who will host you on their domain.

I agree with Celebwen; Anglefire, Tripod and Geocities give you nasty ads that get in the way--particularly Geocities. I'd suggest the same as Celebwen and go with FreeWebs or dhost.info!
