Though it looks like wallpaper contests are coming around, atleast mine are. A few people have taken interest in it, though I admit, they probably wouldn't be if I hadn't provided proper images. David Krumholtz is a cutie however.
BTW: I've noticed a lot of people are putting their Member Awards in their signature, I want to do that too but it wouldn't match with my siggy-set.

True. Providing images, depending on the subject is a good idea, whilst doing so for other subjects is b-a-d. I don't have time to make large things anymore, so it would have to be something I know and something special to tempt me.
Aw, to heck with it Kit. Get it in yer sig girl and don't worry about it not matching. You earned it so use it.

 Yey!
What are the other times when you consider providing images bad, JF?

Double yay!
Errm..there have been a few contests in the past on AU, where images have been provided, and I'll admit it does provide a bit of a challenge. However, if the contest was started by someone who wasn't really into making graphics, and they themselves provided images of say Arwen, sometimes the choices can be extremely weird. I like to try and get images that match, so havng Arwen dying, on a horse, at the coronation etc. can be quite hard to do well.
Blend challenges. Because I'm fussy, I like large good quality images, and you need images that are going to work. So when pictures are already provided, if your really lucky (like the SC Arwen Blend) everything's fine, but sometimes the images are too small, there aren't enough, too grainy etc.
But this could be just me. I do like contests with pictures, but they also can put me off entering.

well that certainly makes sense, it's hard to enter a contest if you can't make anything of the provided pictures, I try to find decent enough pictures for you guys in every round.

It's great to know I haven't done anything wrong.
All right, now this contest will end the 24th, the voting will go through until that next week, assuming to be about the 30th or so, and then I'll take a few days to make awards ---- then the December contest will be up. We discussed a Christmas theme. What do you think JF? Should we go with a winter landscape theme or Elves (not Tolkien elves) or maybe just Saint Nick?

Nope, you have done all right with these contest Kit. Great idea.
Hmm...Christmas theme....a landscape would be nice. I think as everyone thinks of Elves as being Tolkien's Elves, anything less would unsult them. Again again, the US has a Santa image, whereas in the UK, Father Christmas looks totally different.
It's going to be harder for you to choose pictures to do with Christmas, because everyone has their ideal Xmas images. Maybe having more images of a whole variety of Christmas things, (trees, snowmen, prsents, bells etc) would allow people to choose their ideal Christmas image.

^I agree wtih JF as far as an idea for a Christmas theme (even though I wasn't really in the conversation LOL)
Anyway, I just saw NUMB3RS for the first time last night! I had seen the theme for this rounds contest, and I was like "I don't think I'll enter because I don't know who the guy is" and then behold! I accidentally happen to watch NUMB3RS! I think I will enter this one!

Awesome, Gil! I'm glad you're entering. I have actually never seen Numb3rs, only bits and pieces so.
I could do that, JF. An overall Christmas theme sounds reasonable.
